I FINALLY got to use this lens last night at the Toyota Center for The Who concert and was amazed at how fast it focused in the low light of the opening band that seemed to be having some lightning issues. We were required to shoot in a line down the side of sound, so I was standing on a 12” tall stool positioned vertically so I could rest my monopod on it and then leaning to the right to shoot around the photographer in front of me. Cant wait to use it without all the acrobatics! I purchased this lens strictly for the concert photography. I have my first image posted on Instagram at rwr25 if you want to check it out? 5 |

Getting this tripod,compared to the one I was using is like driving a 1993 Toyota Celica and jumping into a BMW. Smooth, fluid pan head...easy to collapse and take on shoots! It cranks up very high and is amenable to me shooting stand uppers for live events. This is perfect for a studio or remote application. You'll love this tripod!! 5 |
