The drive operates quickly and efficiently. I set mine up and immediately began copying over materials from a drive that was starting to fail. I got it all copied to my relief and then set up TiimeMachine to back up the information. Unfortunately, I'd left the drive in the Ex-FAT (Windows) format and this created a major problem. I ultimately had to completely erase and reformat the drive to work with Macintosh compatible documents so it can be backed up via TimeMachine. The experience was scary and frustrating but it gradually dawned on me that there were instructions to reformat the drive to operate in a Mac environment which I neglected to follow. Don't make this mistake! It now works fantastically, fast and accurate. My only hesitation about the drive is the strength of the blue LED on the front. It is so strong that it can become annoying. I've repositioned the drive on the desk behind my computer so the flashing light is shielded from direct view. I can look around to check it but not inundated with constant flashing which I find distracting.

As a disclaimer I met the designer Peter Geller personally back in 2004 and have been using this products ever since. I've accumulated many CSB products and this is my favorite one of the bunch, but more important, let me explain why you should consider using this size of reflector, especially if you photograph models for fashion or glamour. If youre trying to illuminate a fashion model that is 510 or taller, a 3- or 4-foot diameter circle will not evenly light her from head to toe. A reflector cant reflect more light than it receives and under the physics Law of Reflectance, a flat reflector cant increase the size of the reflected light either, though often it appears that way as most fabric reflectors are not polished mirrored surfaces. This appearance of enlargement of the light reflected is caused by diffusion of a non-mirrored-polished surface (the fabric material) hence why some professional photographers will take reflector fabric and run it through a wash cycle (without soap, only water) to season the surface for more diffusion. This added diffusion minimally increases the overall size of the reflected light shape and helps reduce the contrast of the reflected light. This is a negative trade-off in using a cheaper round reflector. You are reflecting, not projecting, a round light path no larger than the size of the reflector itself, to illuminate a geometrically shaped larger rectangle, because a human standing is a tall rectangle, not a round object. In essence, you are using the middle rectangle section of a round reflector, thus throwing away the outer two-thirds of the (circle) light source which increases the chance of spill-light on other elements in your scene. What is also great about this reflector, it's durable, built light, and packs compact. I've been using this reflector since 2004, that's now 13 years! It works!

This is a very nice headlamp, without two levels of white light, a red light and a flashing red light.  Having the battery pack on the back makes it much easier to balance and the straps are adjustable over a wide range.

Great size, love the built in light (it has flashing mode for some reason, just if you need to give someone a seizure on a film set?) I have always wanted this Porta Brace bag but kept talking myself out of it. I finally pulled the trigger on buying one and I'm glad I did. Sometimes I have a small lens in it if i am shooting an event with a smaller camera, but on a full set I kit it out with all the tools I'll need. for camera department. If you are on the fence about it, do it.

This flashing is amazing. The variable light settings to the strobe. No concerns on purchasing the light at all. I would love to give one to every person in my family. BUY IT YOU'LL LOVE IT!!!!

Very useful product because it is not like the regular flash. It has several functions that allow you to change such like: dimmer, lighter and even flashing. The flash level is used still not has a very strong light like regular flash. The image looks more nature light and hard to tell that is use flash or not.

With the press of a button-focus, zoom (variable), and flashing light showing camera is filming. It is so easy, light weight, hook up in seconds. This is a must have item. At the cost is inexpensive compared to the older version of this kind of equipment. Good investment and will make you smile.

Works as advertised! It's responsive and easy to use. My only minor complaint is the flashing blue light which can be a little annoying in a dark venue But, I realize there has to be some way to know that it's on

Very good device but hardly fast speed and external light keep flashing green. But over all everything seem fine
