I used to own Matthews stands and accessories. When I closed my business I sold everything. Now that I'm rebuilding I'm buying Avenger. This stand is as durable as any Matthews. The gloss black finish is very professional looking and very strong. The description read black painted chrome and that scared me, but if it is painted over chrome you'd never know. It looks and feels like black-colored metal - like any other black grip equipment. I find the stand to be heavy enough (and legs spread enough) that with soft box I don't need sand bags - but always a good idea. Best product at the best price! 5 |
