replaces a Z400 vintage 2009... HP workstsations run forever... maybe you dont need the power of a workstation, but it sure helps to have the peace of mind knowing that the headroom is there when you want. If you are a pro, use professional equipment... Ive heard those Apple things will do the job for you, but I KNOW these HP computers will... HP since 1998 and not likely to change anytime soon. 5 |

Used it to intall SDD on both a 2009 Mac Pro and an HP Z800 workstation. No problems with either, connectors line up fine. Quality metal frame, all screws included, NOT a piece of junk. 5 |

I have had a DeckLink Extreme HD card in my 2009-era Mac Tower for 5 years and it has been a flawless performer for monitoring and export (print to tape) with RS-422 deck control. Never had an ounce of trouble. I waited with great expectations for this card for our new HP Z workstation that we use to edit 4K because I wanted to monitor in 4K/60p and this is the only card that can do it. I expected problems installing it given the Windows environment but it was simple! I installed it into a pair of empty slots (takes up 2) and installed the software from the included SD card. One reboot later I was editing in Premiere CC with beautiful 4K/60p monitoring on our 55 Samsung 4K monitor using HDMI. Once again, a wonderful product from Black Magic that JUST WORKS. I can't recommend it enough. Absolutely fabulous! If I can install it, anyone can. 5 |

I bought this cable to be able to use my iMac 27 2009 as a large external monitor for my 2015 MacBook i7 15. It allows me to use both screens, the large one to work on and the MacBook monitor to hold my windows and tools. The first cable I was sent was in the right bag but was the wrong cable. This one was correct and stays in place and makes a solid contact. There are no cons. 5 |
