This Apple Thunderbolt 2 cable, was the cable needed to connect an older desktop MacPro(late 2013) computer to a OWC Thunderbolt 3 docking station(note: a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 adaptor is needed to connect the computer to a Thunderbolt 3 docking station. On my mac mini 2018 with a 4k monitor, I swapped an HDMI to HDMI cable with this thunderbolt to displayport cable. Huge difference! Before, the entire display was sluggish and unresponsive. Now, the picture is sharp, and the UI is smooth and responsive. 5 |
