2010 Philips Computer Speakers With Subwoofer

I replaced my passive Logitech computer speakers with a pair of the Audioengine A2+ speakers and a small 6.5 powered subwoofer. This is a great combination for listening to streaming videos and music in my small office. I use the USB input for the signal from my computer and the RCA outputs to send a signal to the powered subwoofer (Acoustic Audio PSW-6 purchased separately). Shown in the pictures on the Audioengine DS1 stands. The only con is the volume knob is on the back. I would purchase them again. 5 |

I love these speakers and subwoofer combo! I use them every day and not just with my computer but also with my iPod ad other MP3 players. The first day I got this I was listening to a song with my wife and I looked at her and said "I didn't even know there was a base line in that part of the song!" great product worth every penny! 5 |

Use it with my home computer. Placed the subwoofer under the table and the left/right speakers on either side of the computer. Overall effect of the sound is great with no imbalance. Own it for a month now. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Philips sound bar and subwoofer were better than expected for the price. Fits perfectly in front of and in between the legs of my 55” TV. Really easy setup connected to my TV with an HDMI cord. Can be used as a Bluetooth speaker connected to my phone or another device. The sound projects out and around the tv, not just straight out. 5 |

Hooked them up to an 105w per channel Onkyo amp from 2010. They benefit from having a sub like most bookshelf speakers. These speakers cover music quite well.i Haven't watched a HD movie with them yet but I'm sure they would do fine. I'm pleased with the purchase, and they are not too bright for my taste. I'd call them clear, as I can hear many instruments clearly. But feed them an HD signal and they sound great. 5 |
