Screwdrivers were included in the kit. I replaced the battery in my 2011 MBA and it couldnt have been simpler. Battery has ~12% more capacity than the original and everything is working well. Very worthwhile self fix :) 5 |

After my Apple battery start to puff my 2011 11" was vintage, no help from Apple, the 2012 11" battery is the same (the still have that one) but they would not sell me one.... shame on you Apple, you lost a sale. Turned to this aftermarket for a replacement. I would not buy a cheap eBay battery but this branded one has warranty and is a direct replacement. If anything it maybe 1mm or so thicker, the back plate was fine once screwed down. But was a little proud without the screws. Work fine, system profiler can ready cycles and battery info OK. 5 |
