2012 2013 Macbook Apple Certified Refurbished

I was looking into replacing my 2013 Macbook Pro and configured a Mac Mini on the Apple website. It was going to take over a month to be shipped. I was able to find the same exact configuration I wanted at B&H and it arrived within 2 days. Excellent packaging and service.

I got this for a late 2013 Macbook Pro with a 15 Retina Display and I am NOW COVERED BY APPLE CARE! This is the same protection you would get from Apple except it is $$ cheaper! BUY IT NOW!

I upgraded from my Apple MacPro 2013 which was slowing down and just outdated. MacBook Air is light weight and so fast. I am enjoying using my laptop again.

Installed this SSD in my late 2013 MacBook Pro. Needed to install in the computer then install the original Apple SSD in the OWC carrier. Then boot holding the option key. This booted the computer with the Apple SSD. Then used OWC recommended carbon copy to clone the OWCSSD. This worked great. It’s been three weeks and all is good. It’s great that OWC have a five year warranty on this drive.

Worked on my Late-2013 MacBook Pro 13 Retina display. I had to call apple care since my purchase date was not reflecting in their system. (I purchased the laptop from @).

I installed this SSD in a mid-2012 Macbook Pro 13" version 9,2 model. Wow! I became a big fan of SSD drives with my new iMac and the MacBook was looking so pokey in comparison. Now my MacBook has new life, amazingly faster performance. It's the best speed upgrade I have ever experienced with a product. I'm running High Sierra on this book with no glitches. Has 16 gb ram. I highly recommend this especially because new Macbooks are so pricey and Apple has taken away ports I use in the new models, such as Ethernet, DVD drive, Firewire. It's a new machine again. Just be aware you will want to partition the drive with the new Apple APFS as it will not work with GUID. I then migrated my software with Apple migration assistant with only minor glitches to some software icons. Those I fixed by booting in safe mode, then back to normal mode.

Loved my 2012 MacBook Pro, I really stressed over a replacement - initially ordered 2018 MB Air from B&H which arrived damaged and did re-think. It did feel like a hasty compromise when I ordered the MBA. I thought about how I used my 2012 MBP - mostly in one location and plugged into an outlet. The intrigue of the Mac Mini bit and stuck. I wanted BT 5.0 and that wasn't MADE available by Apple at the time. I liked the specs 3.0 chip, 256 GB etc and paired with Apple keyboard and mouse due to review complaints about connectivity with both devices. If there was an issue I would deliver all to the local Apple store and they could sort it out. I was really perplexed by Apple butterfly keyboard mechanism issues on their labtop line and their 4 year extended keyboard warranty from product introduction will roll around quickly. So Mac Mini with it's compromises (quiet speaker volume, no FaceTime camera or microphone) was decided and the last hurdle was finding a smaller display so I did not accidently knock it over. There are essentially 2 decent quality 14-16

I bought this to replace my 2012 that I never had problems with. MacBook Pro is the only Apple product that I own. I don't even like iPhones, but I like my MacBook Pro. My usually bought Dell laptops, but after 2 years they start to fail. My 2012 lasted 8 years and it just started to freeze. I suspect it's the hard drive, so I plan on repairing it and keeping it as a backup. But I figured it was time to buy a new laptop so I wanted to give the M1 a try. So far so good and I'm really happy with it.

I purchased a refurbished 15 Macbook Pro from Apple and did not get the Apple Care warranty with the computer. This place has the best price and saved me $100 on the agreement price. It registered with no issues. I can tell you that it is rare that Apple stuff goes bad but when it does, you will be glad you got this. I am not sure how BH does it, but glad they do. If I am ever in the market for a new Macbook in the future, I will shop here first.
