The new 2020 Apple 13.3” MacBook Air with Retina display is the best thing to come from Apple in a long time. Slightly smaller and lighter than previous MacBook Airs, this one packs a lot value. It is a faster and smoother operating laptop than my previous 2012 version. The TruTone display provides excellent and realistic pictures from my photographs or the web. I was worried about there being only the 2 USB - C version 3 ports but that hasn’t been a problem. Ordering it from B&H was the best option I could have made. The best value compared to any other vendor, and the support staff was exceptional in making smooth and fast. Their shipping was great and they kept me updated with the movement of the package throughout its shipment. Arrived exactly when they said it would. I recommend the 2020 MacBook Air for anyone looking to upgrade from older versions. In addition, this model could be the last one to come out with an Intel chip, making this model a likely collector’s item. This Macbook Pro replaces my aging 2013 MacBook Air. It's fast, of course, and the display is incredibly easy to read with colors that are rich and vivid. It was easy to transfer everything from the Mac to the Pro -- and will be a great help with continuing to teach piano remotely, as well as writing, composing, and general use.

I upgraded from my Apple MacPro 2013 which was slowing down and just outdated. MacBook Air is light weight and so fast. I am enjoying using my laptop again.

After six years of MacBook Pro's, I decided I no longer needed the firepower of those very fine machines and opted for the Air in part because I could not find anyone who could tell me anything bad or even slightly wimpy re the 2020 Air. The other part that prompted the switch was that demand for the Air appeared to persuade Apple to stick with something they pioneered but seemed to have fallen out of love with. If so many people continued to buy Air's even when not a lot of innovation was being invested in them, then who am I to ignore what the market was saying about the device. And the machine is light, fast, and has enough juice to keep an old guy like me chugging away in my eighth decade. (Yep, I am heading toward 71 in a few months.) The point here is that Apple continues to make very good devices that outlast the competition and meet lots of peoples' needs for computing, communication and creativity, even for old farts such as I who started a thousand years ago with PCs and see the Air as my buddy for quite a few years to come.
