I have this connected to a 2013 MBP using the thunderbolt 2 adapter. Every port works perfect without any issues. I purchased this model for the number of ports and small size. this box is tiny, much small than other thunderbolt ports. I have not used the video ports yet but i suspect they will work fine as well. 5 |

I used this adapter to connect my 2013 Mac Pro (Thunderbolt 2) to a new Thunderbolt 3 hard drive. I was able to edit 4K video files off of the new drive. I then bought a 2019 Mac Pro and was able to use this adapter to access a Thunderbolt 2 hard drive. Win-win. 5 |

You may want to consider a Bluetooth adapter for your headphones rather than this. They are harder to loose and more convenient. 5 |
