2013 Gaming Computer

I bought it for my use, but my son uses it for his gaming computer. Love it!

I've had this model of case for just over 5 years on my MacBook Pro Late 2013 (13 inch). I had to buy a replacement a few weeks back only after my bag took a rough tumble in the airport. I'm sure it's saved my computer dozens of times, and at the very least, kept it from denting/scratching/bending. The actual shell for the screen-back is a bit confusing to orient when putting it on (I had it wrong for a few years haha, though it's really me not paying attention to the instructions.) It's solid, and keep your warranty info! Moshi provide lifetime warranties on their case products. All in all, a good, strong case that mostly manages to avoid getting dirt and grime between the case and the computer (helps prevent scratches and general gross-ness). 10/10 - Already bought it again.

I built my last computer in like NOV-DEC of 2013. The motherboard was a ASUS ROG Maximus VI Hero (Intel-compatible). It has worked flawlessly all these years, and I couldn't ask for more. It still works. I decided it's time to upgrade because I wanted an ultrawide monitor. The last thing I wanted to do was have to tear all the components out and RMA a board, costing me HOURS of my life, all for saving $100 of a cheaper MB on the front end. So I opted for the once again flagship product from Asus and my expectations are high!

The Hub works with no issues. I like that the charging ports are always on regardless if the computer is on or off. I have a MacPro 2013, so I need lots of extra USB 2 and 3.0 ports.

This is a very very good flash drive. I had to back up a Mac computer from 2013 that I had never backed up. Using this flash drive, it took less than 20 minutes! B& H has never steered me wrong in 20 years!! It was shipped fast!

I upgraded to this computer after having a 2013 Mac book Pro for many years. The difference is amazing in speed and features as Apple is known for. The price was great and B and H remain one of my favorite places to make these purchases.

Have had 1 of these since 2013 & it took a lightening hit & saved everything connected to it not to mention various other surges & power fails. Am on my 3rd battery - they range around 17 $$ on E-bay & last approx 5 to 7 years. Since this is a small battery, it only holds enuff juice for about 5 minutes when connected to a tower computer, 20 inch screen & various accessories. This is sufficient time for a complete shutdown but if you're not at the computer you'd better run. Am in a rural area with lots of power interruptions. I purchased this 1 as a Christmas present. Good price well packed & FAST mailing. Very satisfied with product.

Installed this SSD in my late 2013 MacBook Pro. Needed to install in the computer then install the original Apple SSD in the OWC carrier. Then boot holding the option key. This booted the computer with the Apple SSD. Then used OWC recommended carbon copy to clone the OWCSSD. This worked great. It’s been three weeks and all is good. It’s great that OWC have a five year warranty on this drive.

I purchased this laptop to replace my 2013 MacBook Air. That 9-year old computer never gave me any problems and we still use it for Zoom communications. Although I've only had the new 2022 M2 for a couple of weeks, I have noticed a couple of big differences. One, it is FAST. One of my computing intense photo software programs takes 25-30 seconds on my 2015 iMac to process takes about 1-second on the new M2. Two, the battery lasts a LOT longer than my previous laptop. Granted, there has been 9-years of battery improvements since 2013, but it is impressive. My last observation -- the MacBook Air I got in 2013 is still in operation. Nine years of daily use and its never been in a computer repair shop. Apple quality is unsurpassed.

Computer needed a speed boost, well worth the money for a Mac Pro Late 2013 model.
