2015 Macbook Pro 13 Solid State Drive Replacement

This is my second WD 1 TB drive, and I use them to both store and backup photos from my MacBook Pro (with solid-state storage). Even with lots of RAW files, the transfer rate seems fast. It is small, and easily stored when not in use. There is nothing about this drive that I would change.

This case works perfectly for my 13 inch 2015 Macbook Pro. Beautiful texture, and the case is lined with a soft fabric to protect the finish of the computer. It fits great in my bag, and even the zippers are designed well not to click and scrape against the sides. All in all a great product and definitely worth the money.

A must have accessory for the early 2015 MacBook Pro retina 13 to burn cd's and Dvd's it would be much better if it supported BluRay.

I purchased the unit for my early 2015 Macbook Pro 13-inch along with Sintech NGFF M.2 nVME SSD Adapter Card. I am happy to report that the SSD is working well. I am running Catalina Version 10.15.4. The system report detects the NVMe nature of the SSD as well. Someone interested in purchasing this item should note that you will not get the full read/write speeds of 3430MB/s Read and 2600MB/s Write. I am getting approx 1322MB/s Read and 1224MB/s write speed. This is mainly due to the PCIe 2.0 bus in most of the 2015 Macbook Pro machines (Both 13 and 15) not by the limitation of the SSD. I made the purchase despite this limitation because it provides about 25 to 30% performance boost over the stock SSD. I chose WD Black over Samsung EVO because of price. Both are wonderful and comparable products so price was the decision factor.

This was my update for a 2015 MacBook Pro 13''. I can surely say that it has been performing amazingly since I bought it. I've done some video editing stuff and the difference in rendering times is huge. I can be sure that I will keep it for at least 4 years more.

This is perfect! I love it! I'm using it for my 13 inch Macbook pro (2015). It raises the screen to a more comfortable viewing angle, and makes it easier to type (in my opinion). There is no wiggle or shake, and it doesn't scratch my laptop. I would definitely recommend this!

Super fast with solid state drive. Love the 13 inch verse my old mac 15 inch. I got the i5 processor and it's working great, not slow, and I do video productions (thought I don't edit full time on this computer) Enjoy!

I use this as a second drive for data on my older MacBook Pro early 2015 and also with my MacBook Pro M1 Max, both equipped with a side SD Card slot. Perfect to store data and we even edit video on them, although haven't tired multcam yet.

This is my first MACBook. It is expensive and can not be upgraded after purchase - two big bummers. But it works flawlessly and has all the speed I was hoping for. I use it to create giant panoramas in Photoshop, starting with as many as 15 exposures. What took as much as 15 minutes to process now takes a few seconds. I have a lot of PSB files, gigantic. They save in less than a minute rather than 20. At home, I operate it clam shell style. I had no problem hooking the MACBook up to larger, calibrated screens, though I had to buy a boatload of converters. One way I could have saved money would have been to have purchased a much smaller solid state drive; maybe one TB. No solid state drive is big enough to hold all my photos. So, purchasing a conventional, inexpensive peripheral drive was necessary anyway. A harddrive that is configured for both PCs and MACS turned out to be the best way to go; though now I have about 3TB of unused solid state drive on the MACBook, a waste of money.
