2015 Macbook Pro Magsafe Charger Watts

Allows me to use my old MagSafe Charger with my 2014 MacBook Pro.

Coming from a 2015 MacBook Air, the performance was the first noticeable improvement. Working with a visualization software on my Macbook Air would being speed to a crawl. With my new MacBook Pro, speed seems to be a given thing and the true power is when I have to run a few heavy resource software. This small laptop can go the distance, that's for sure. Buying from B&H was a delight. I have not done so for a while, but they really dialled in the option selection so I was able to find the best machine for my budget. I was so happy with my purchase that I bought a second Macbook Pro for my wife a week later!

Great adaptor for old MagSafe chargers to new MacBook Pro charge port.

Every time I bring my MacBook to work, I always have to bring the original little white Apple adapter, plug it in back and forth to home-work, work-home... Well, those days are over. Now, I can leave the Xcellon 100W USB-C Universal AC Adapter permanently on my desk at work while the original Apple charger is stored in the laptop's case to take it anywhere else. The original Apple charger is only 30 watts, which I also used it for other USB-C PD devices, but the Xcellon for being 100 watts, is much better. It will deliver intelligently up to 100 watts to whatever device that needs that much current, like a bigger laptop or an V-Mount battery and will also safely charge my MacBook to only supplying the appropriate current it needs. Nothing more. That's what PD means: "Power Delivery". Very happy with it, it does what it's supposed to and now I have two ways to charge my laptop. Also, it features a built-In Circuit Protection Circuitry, and if you live in a country that is 220 volts, the charger automatically switches to the appropriate wattage (110/220), no problem. The system itself is delightful ... very light, yet more than fast enough to replace a 2015 MacBook Pro (indeed, it's significantly faster at video encoding). BandH delivery was on time, which was really appreciated since this was a gift for my wife's birthday.

I put this into a 2015 MacBook Pro and it worked perfectly. Been using it for about two weeks with no issues.

I love everything about my new MacBook Air! M2 chip makes it faster and smoother. Another thing I like about it is MagSafe charger. It indicates when MacBook is finished charging which is helpful. Day after I purchased my MacBook, I recommended my sibling to purchase one and she did. I recommend it to anyone who wants to upgrade their MacBook to the next level.

So far, I have no issues with the magsafe converter. After converting to a newer macbook I was afraid that my old charger would be worthless. To make the problem worse, I knew I would need a second charger to leave at the office. Luckily, I came across this adapter before I bought a second charger! The magnetic connect between eh adapter and the charger is VERY strongI'm not worried that it will accidentally fall off. Otherwise, I wouldn't notice that this wasn't a standard magsafe 2.

This was a nice upgrade from a 2015 MacBook Pro, the M2 chip a significant improvement. Took advantage of the B&H sale price plus B&H offered trade-in $ where Apple offered zilch, great deal!

I bought this to use with my 2015 Macbook pro 15 and it works as intended (Full res 75Hz, sRGB mode) with a thunderbolt to display port cable. Colors are as accurate as my mac display although the mac might have just a little more contrast but in day to day usage, you really won't notice. Ergonomics gets a 10/10 and I've set this up at full stand height with vertical arrangement of the two displays. Didn't go for the PA278CV since my laptop doesn't have a USB-C port, it's pricier and the display panel is more or less the same. Overall, I'm really satisfied with my purchase. Highly recommend if you want a monitor for productivity and content creation.
