This is a typical Apple dongle which does what it’s supposed to, namely connect my Apple optical drive to my new MacBook Pro. As is everything made by Apple, cheaper adapters can be had, more so now that USB C is becoming increasingly common in non-Apple brand equipment. 5 |

I bought this for my new Macbook Pro 2016 and it works flawlessly out of the box. I like that it comes with 2 cables, the USB-C connecting cable and the previous USB connection cable. I can connect it to my previous laptop which doesn't have USB-C and the new computer which only has USB-C. It's so much faster than what I was using before and I haven't experienced any problems with it yet. It feels sturdy and secure. The space grey matches the space grey color of the Macbook Pro 2016 quite well, I can't tell any difference. I will likely buy another one soon. 5 |

AppleCare is AppleCare! Only way to go with my new MacBook Pro Retina. I buy it with ALL my Apple products since its inception. Hardly ever need it for big stuff, but it's great to be able to call and get expert solutions for 3 solid years. And if something major goes out, you're covered!B&H price beats Education Store at ( )! Funny, though, that they send me a disc when my laptop doesn't have an optical drive! Go figger.... 5 |
