I got this for my MacBook Air 2018. I tested it between my Mac and an Apple Cinema Display that connects via mini-Display port. Works well. I also tried it between the Mac and an HDMI-cabled monitor. Also works well. Its very lightweight and does what it says it will do. I did not check the 4K compatibility. 5 |

I debated and debated and finally upgraded from a regular Ipad 9 from 2018. WOW. Love how it doesn't slow down no matter how many tabs I leave open on it. It's made me more productive and acts as a 2nd monitor to my MacBook Pro. So far loving the purchase. I just purchased a 2018 Macbook Pro and wanted an external hard drive for its Time Machine software. Came formatted for the Mac and worked without any drama or issues. The drive is boxes with a rather short USB type-C cable and a USB type-A dongle. C-cable fits tightly for a good connection. Ive used the dongle for some older Window devices without issue.
