This dock I got met and exceeded my expectations. Works perfectly with my 2020 intel MacBook Pro. No issues with randomly hibernating or other unknown anomalies I had experience with other thunderbolt three and four docks. Plus this is space grey if colour is important to your setup. The Apple 14 MacBook Pro with M2 Max processor has been fantastic so far. Nice keyboard and sound, sharp display, quick and long battery life. Compared to my old Macbook Pro 13 with an Intel processor, this machine runs circles around it and doesn't even need to be plugged into power to do it. I was a bit worried about compatibility with the ARM based processor and some of my software but everything I use has worked either natively or with Rosetta 2 which has been seamless. 5 |

I upgraded from the last Intel MacBook Air, the 2020 model, with 8GB of RAM. I use Photoshop to edit my photos and it was running laggy on the Intel model. The new Denoise feature in Camera RAW was especially slow requiring about 4 minutes to process a photo. My new M2 MacBook Air with 16GB of RAM processes a photo in about 40 seconds. It also has way more battery life when compared to an Intel MacBook Air. 5 |
