Purchased so we could feed 4K TV from 2023 Macbook air using an existing HDMI-HDMI cable. Works perfectly.

Ordered my 16 inch M3 Max, Space Black macbook with 36 gb and 4 tb memory in early Nov 2023. It was still on backorder so I waited until early Dec 2023 for its arrival. It did not disappoint in any way. My early 2015 16 inch macbook data and programs transferred and I was up and running in about an hour.
