If you're reading this than you know how important it is to have a surge protector at all of your major appliances and electronic outlets. I bought several of these APC P7GB SurgeArrest Essential 120V 7-Outlet Surge Protector (4', White) on special because I shoot in open buildings that may not have the best electrical service. I value my equipment and wanted the extra added security of the features this product offers. The energy saving feature is attractive too. I will buy more for home use.

Works exactly as advertised. Please note this is not a standard outlet type. 120v 30A locking barrel type. Please make sure you have the proper outlet on the wall. I did not and a surprise electrician expense to deal with. My own fault, the description is pretty clear, if not written in layman's terms.
