24 Or 27 Inch Monitor For Competitive Gaming
Fastica | 2024-06-02 06:18:54 |
I'm a gamer, mostly single player, not competitive, and even though I have a 27" / 144Hz gaming monitor I'm using this monitor as my main screen for my PC and my PS5. The screen looks so good that it's hard to go back to an IPS screen with low contrast and a matte finish, even though it's bigger and faster. With 400 Nits, it's brighter than many ultra expensive OLED monitors, and it has a glossy screen, that's a big plus. Totally recommended! 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the 27-inch gaming monitor, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The large screen size provides an immersive gaming experience, and the crystal-clear display with vibrant colors truly enhances every game I play. The fast refresh rate and low response time ensure that there's no lag or ghosting, making my gaming sessions incredibly smooth and enjoyable. The monitor's design is sleek and modern, adding a stylish touch to my gaming setup. Overall, I highly recommend this 27-inch gaming monitor to anyone looking to elevate their gaming experience. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this monitor in combination with 2 other g3 that are 27 inch curved. However, this is the main monitor and is a general purpose for my needs from gaming to research for college. It is great for gaming and for just browsing the internet. 5 |

Upgraded from 24 inch and very satisfied with the bigger 27 inch monitor. Like the built-in excellent spearker, eye care, and HDRi. Used it for my own work and also kid's remote learning. 5 |

I purchased this to replace three 24 inch monitors. This monitor is the BOMB. The colors are vibrant. I use it for everyday business and not for gaming. It is a gaming monitor with various modes. You can set it to your liking. I love that it has more of a curve than my other monitor. This one has a 1000R curvature. The smaller the number the greater the curvature. This monitor also has LED light on the back and you can control it or turn it off. I mounted mine on an arm to give me more room on my desk. The feet on the stand were longer than i like them. Overall a great monitor and highly recommended 5 |

I only play one competitive game 5-30 minutes a day. I thought I didn't need this monitor. I figured it couldn't make much of a difference but I've always followed Blurbuster's advice and updates so when I saw the first Blurbuster certified monitor was being released I jumped on the preorder, an impulse buy that is very out of character for me. The motion clarity at 240Hz and pureXP turned on is the best I have seen. My initial buyers remorse quickly faded once I had a few hours behind this new monitor. For people that follow this tech and buy new monitors every year, this monitor might not be that impressive but I was using an Acer Predator XB271HU 27 144Hz. This monitor was worth every penny for me and now I can't go back. It makes playing my one game so much easier and more relaxing because I see more with less effort. Sure, I miss 27 @ 2k but I suspect the tech isn't ready or priced right. When blurbusters certifies a 27 @ 2k I will buy it at any price under $1500. 5 |

This iMac 24-inch replaced a late-2014 iMac 27-inch that we bought from B&H almost exactly seven years ago. My wife used that one to create digital art, and it was just time to get a faster machine to keep up with the software advances. The 24-inch screen has not been much of a sacrifice versus the 27-inch. One benefit is that the smaller screen requires less eye movement side to side, which significantly reduces eye fatigue. The pixel density is about the same as the larger 5k screen. No PC offers this quality of screen except Apple. The M1 is much, much faster with Corel Painter than the older machine (as one would expect). The sound system is very good. The only complaint is that Apple makes the worst keyboards. The Magic keyboard that comes with this iMac feels flimsy and junky. Instead, we plugged in a 9-year-old USB Apple keyboard, and it is much, much better. I would say that, if you buy an iMac, prepare to buy an aftermarket keyboard for about $100. 5 |
