if you use a dr-100 for field recording, you know that the lithium battery (bpl-2) does not last too long if phantom power is needed. i have 2 batteries and i run out of power every time. when this external battery came out, i bought it very fast to try it. for my surprise it works amazingly good. highly recommended. i use 6 duracell 2450 mah on it and it lasts for many, many hours using the phantom power on my dr-100. cheers 5 |

So all I can say is I got these as part of a 24-hour sale, and I'm delighted to have them! I get over 2,000 lux at one meter with the two of them, they're easy to place thanks to the screws in the bottom and the fold-out brackets, and while they only last a half-hour each on battery power I extend that with 10,000 or 20,000 mAH battery packs or AC. It's enough light to do a basic stand-up or fill in light where I need it.... 5 |

They said to remove the vent cover a half hour before use. I removed the cover and measured about a half volt. An hour later, 1.35 volts. Installed them, and now my vintage Luna Pro works perfectly! Great solution to replace an obsolete part! 5 |

This battery last me a day of shooting though I don't shoot 100% of the time in a 10 hour day. Waiting to see how long it powers my camera and a monitor. Its also smaller than I was expecting compared to some B4B I am used to using. 5 |
