Having a QHD monitor gives me more room to work but isn't super overbearing when I need to share my screen to folks with FHD like 4k is. The higher refresh rate is great to keep motion blur of videos and cursor to a minumum. As for gaming, this does as well as you could expect for a budget style type of monitor more focused at productivity. It does what I need it to when I'm in my office gaming, but if you're an avid gamer, I recommend you find one of Samsung's gaming-centric monitors for the features you'll need.

I recently picked up the LG 27 ULTRAGEAR™ QHD monitor, and it's been a revelation for my gaming and everyday computer use. The difference the 240Hz refresh rate makes in smoothness is amazing—everything from scrolling through web pages to moving windows around feels more fluid. Movies and games look incredibly sharp. It's not the cheapest monitor out there, but considering how much it's improved my daily computer experience, I'd say it's been a fantastic investment.

The color quality is awesome, thanks to the OLED technology. Unlike normal LED screens that go to a dark gray when displaying black, this monitor achieves true black by turning the pixels all the way off. The monitor itself is massive compared to my old one, which means I can only run one monitor due to the size of my desk. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm just blown away by this monitor after a couple days. The first say or two it took me a while to get used to the colors since I came from an IPS panel, but once I got used to it, I really started loving this monitor. Gaming such as racing games is super fun and really brings your sense of speed up to new levels. Productivity I've been using software to split the monitor into 3 equal parts which let's me open up email, a browser, and a server up at the same time for work which means I don't even have to use my second monitor to be productive! Gaming at 1440p at 240hz works well because then you can hit those frames with a decent graphics card. 4k personally I would feel as overkill and I'd rather have a high refresh 240hz screen than 4k. The packaging I was very happy to see padded and secured so I wouldn't have any worries with shipment. The stand is very study, almost too sturdy as raising and lowering the monitor requires 2 hands and you have to get up to do it. The curve of the monitor is good and the hdr in full screen is bright, way brighter than other monitors I've tried. Another benefit is the monitor turns on pretty quick which is good because I'm always walking away from my computer. Windows trys to force the monitor audio as default but just disable it in playback devices and you'll be good. Overall a great monitor I can fully recommend.

I like everything about this monitor. It was a great deal. One of the best 1440P 240Hz monitor around for the money.
