I thought it was dead on arrival until I educated myself on PoE standards. I had 24V pass thru switch and this needs a 48V switch. I upgraded and once connected, it was adopted and configured in 30m including: upgrade, configuring networks, configuring WiFi channels. I probably don’t need a WAP such as this, but it is nice to potentially future proof my house if WiFi 7 becomes a thing. 5 |

Just added Ecobee thermostat to my second furnace/ac. The two thermostats work great together. I am able to control both remotely. Software works well and easy. 5 |

I have had this thermostat for a couple of months now and what a difference. House has a more balanced temperature and my AC is not constantly running. Super convenient to be able to adjust using the app as well. I look forward to seeing how the house heats in the winter. 5 |

We have loved the Ecobee thermostat for about a year. There has always been a simple rule for my wife the kids (ages 19 and 23), when you open the windows, turn off the AC. They get this about one time in a hundred. I don't know why they can't get this simple thing. I was considering hypnosis, or some kind indoctrination camp. Now, after getting a couple pair of these, none of that will be necessary. The AC turns itself off whenever a window is open. My family is saved ;) 5 |
