24X30 Print From Digital Camera

I've been using this lens for the last 6 months on a GFX 50R, and it went with me on a 2 week trip to Japan... To contextualize my review, my other camera is a X100F, which I will gladly shoot at f/2 and ISO 12,800 because I know it will make a sharp looking A3+ print, despite the internet bemoaning how the lens is soft and APS-C is bad at higher sensitivities. If you print your work, you'll realize how much you've been over-analyzing your digital images while trying to financially quantify whether your camera equipment is overpriced... ahem... This lens is sharp from f/3.5 to f/16, auto-focuses fairly quickly, and is a great match for the GFX 50R as a portable kit. I have images that I can't wait to print at 30 x 40 inches, while others will certainly be cropped into panoramas or squares because I have the resolution to spare. All of my smaller test prints look flawless... If you really go nuts with pushing your raw files and you magnify your images on your monitor too much, you will notice there's some chromatic aberration and distortion being corrected in the lens profile, but this isn't unusual or much of a bother -- I've seen worse on Hasselblad and Pentax digital medium format lenses that cost more, and this issue doesn't show up in print unless you go really big or do a lot of tight cropping. If I were allowed one complaint, I just wish this lens had a closer minimum focusing distance... Needless to say, I love this lens. Getting into medium format generally brings along more expensive, well, everything, so given this is priced at the lower end of the financial spectrum, I really can't recommend it enough. 5 |

I love this camera because you can take it everywhere and take beautiful pictures, you choose which picture to print, it's the best because it serves as a digital camera and at the same time as a polaroid photo printer, you don't waste any printing paper. You can play with many filters, the aesthetics of the camera is too beautiful. I will always be happy with my purchase! 5 |

I have been an 35mm SLR user since 1964 and an Olympus digital SLR user since 2004. I have eight Oly digital lenses and this 14-35mm f2 lens is the ultimate. Output at all f-stops from 2 -11 at any focal length are spectacular. You will not notice too great a difference on a 4x6 print; but on an 11x14 and 13x19 prints you will notice, as they are phenomonal. Clarity and color accuracy are superb. I thought the 11-22mm lens was excellent; but this 14-35 lens is in a class by itself. Photos with great contrast are easily handled. Indoor low light photos are a piece of cake. Other reviews of this lens have criticized its low light focusing. When I tried the S-AF focus option on the E-3 in low to very low lighting, the focusing was definitely slow; BUT when I switched to C-AF focus option, the focus was dead on and immediate with all focusing and exposure options at all f-stops I tried. In other words, there is no focus problem when you use the camera properly. If you buy this lens, it will be on your camera 80-90% of the time, except when you are shooting wildlife, distance sports, etc. Then you can use Olympus' superb telephoto 50-200mm lens (100-400mm, 35mm equivalent)--couple it with the great Oly 2x extender for a 200-800mm, 35mm equivalent. Folks, don't believe all the negative comments about the small sensor used in the Olympus DSLRs -- when you can print fantastic 13x19 photos (and larger sizes, I'm sure, but 13x19 is the largest my Epson R1800 will print), why bother with a full frame Nikon or Canon beast, unless you'r a professional sports photog and money is no object. For the rest of the camera world, the Olypmus E-system with fabulous digital-specific lenses are way more than adequate. I can't say enough positive comments about this one-of-a-kind lens. You will not be disappointed with this lens. 5 |

I use this product to print photos taken with my digital camera. The 80 weight soft gloss HP photo paper always produces the best result for high quality photos. I would prefer to buy it in higher bulk than 25 sheets per package and that's the only negative. I would prefer to buy 100 sheets or 50 sheets per package but it is difficult to find and B & H doesn't offer it in that volume. 5 |

I've never thought this would be so much fun! For $200, you can get so much out of it! Brilliant camera for what it is. Beyond your imagination! You can be so creative and this camera makes everything so interesting. It's just so fun - from a casual photographer to a serious one. Now my buddy wants to buy it, too. The digital image quality isn't bad at all, though I haven't printed it yet. I do want to print and see what's the printer quality like. Remember - it's a Polaroid, after all, so you don't need the crispness. I highly recommend carrying a portable charger - you can shoot 100 shots for 1 full charge. I've shot more than 100 at a time, so had to charge the camera constantly in order to keep shooting. Since it's digital, you want to take time and shoot a bunch to get different images. You might also want to add a viewfinder that you can put where the additional flash can be set (on top of the camera). Because the screen can be hard to see when you shoot outside with bright light. With micro SD, you can shoot TONS. The app to transfer and edit files is a bit hard to set up. You're supposed to be able to transfer the files from the camera to your phone with Bluetooth, but I haven't succeeded yet. I could just take out the micro SD card and transfer it with the reader for my laptop. You can even print your pictures on your phone with this! I think this camera is just brilliant. Hope these tips help you! I highly recommend this camera - I LOVE THIS! You can see what this camera can do on my Instagram @instaxkiki. 5 |

Used on a location shoot with an AB-800, 24x30 in. SB and Impact light stand. Placed 2 of the bags on a stand and it was very sturdy on a windy day. 5 |
