2.5 Inch Portable Monitor For Cctv Camera Testing

I own 3 of these for a portable triple monitor setup. I'm tired of seeing only 1080p or 4K 15.6 inch monitors. 1080p isn't often enough. 4K is a little overkill and you might as well change the resolution on your desktop to 2.5K. Well, this is a native 2.5K display. Oh and it's 16:10 aspect ratio so it's actually 2560x1600. The extra height is glorious for working in Davinci Resolve, Blender, and any other program. It also has full size HDMI which is very rare for quality portable monitors. Don't buy the garbage you see floating around on Amazon when it comes to portable monitors. Buy the ASUS. ViewSonic also has some quality options. I like ViewSonic's 1080p OLED, the physical design is better but it's micro HDMI and well ... it could have been 2.5K. Overall ... as of 2024 this is literally the best portable IPS OLED monitor that's affordable you can buy. I used my xRite color calibration tool to calibrate each monitor to 400 nits and Rec709. You can confidently color grade on these. They have minimal back light bleed. ASUS has been releasing 2.5K 15.6 inch 16:10 (same resolution) OLED panels in some of their latest laptops, so we might see a new Zenscreen like this in 2025 as an OLED panel. However, you can't go wrong with a tried and true IPS panel. These are great. Go for it!

This case is just what I needed.  I like the fact that on each side of the interior there are useful features: on the left side there is a mesh opening with elastic band (useful, for example, for storing a short USB cable) and on the right side there is an elastic band by itself (perfect for holding the portable hard drive itself).  The case is surprisingly firm and is constructed of a corrugated material that, to my mind, will absorb impacts very well.  And it looks great. I bought three of these for portable 2.5 inch 1TB HDDs; they fit perfectly in this case, as does a slimline Tripp-Lite drive conversion kit (which houses a bare 2.5 inch drive that creates a portable USB HDD).   Note: the case is too large for a modern portable SSD like the (incredible) Samsung T5 external 2 terabyte drive I recently bought; no surprise, though, as thats not what this case is designed for.  The T5 needs a substantially smaller case than this one.

I needed a case for my makeshift server. A bench testing and I have to say that this has a lot of space for 8+2/4 2.5-3.5 drives. 2 5.25 bay for optical or additional HDD, hence the +2 or +4 if using 2.5 SSD. Fractal has been making quality cases for some time now and this is a great case. Minimal look, not to flash, gets the job done. It comes with all the fasteners that you will need for this case. The side panel as a bit hard to take off, just a little force needed.

We use this monitor with BNC connectors to monitor our analog CCTV cameras. Image quality is great and color is accurate. I'd buy this one again.

This is simply an excellent value to enable converting a 3.5 inch HDD to a 2.5 inch SDD.

It works but wish it was a CMR and they made a 2.5 inch Red Plus or Pro version

Makes it possible to securely mount a 2.5 inch ssd into a 33.5 inch bay. Works as it should.

The battery works great to power my Red Camera, Red monitor, and a 7 inch external monitor. I get close to 2 hours of run time. It does add weight to the camera but actually makes the camera more balanced as it helps offset heavy lenses. Understandably It also takes longer to charge compared to my IDX duo 98c batteries.
