Cables included with 2.5 drive enclosure were too short for use on my workstation, they didn't reach to desktop. 3 foot gets me there, much handier. 5 |

The bracket is worth the purchase. Most desktops are built with 5.25 and 3.5 drive bays, not 2.5. This allows you to install a 2.5 SSD into your desktop. Just use the included mounting screws to attach the SSD to the bracket, then screw in the bracket to the drive bay. The drive bays on the desktop had sleds that didn't require additional screws to mount a drive, so I used just the 4 fine-threaded screws on the SSD to bracket mounting. That's another thing: I like this brand's bracket because they include all the screws you'll need. Others want you to buy the screws separately. NewerTech Rocks! I recently got a SanDisk 1TB SSD (Solid State Drive) and used a drive cloning device to clone my old 1TB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) to the new SSD. It works wonders in my 15 year old computer! It really speeds up drive-related activities, perhaps as much as 3 or 4 times faster. I think my old HP laptop computer is either a SATA or SATA II type, so I suspect those with a SATA III system would see even better speed results when going from a HDD to a SSD. Gotta love it! 5 |

This is an extremely reliable and easy to use Solid State Drive. Once initialized it's easy to clone form a Hard Disk Drive to this unit. Take out the old drive, insert this drive, and put your seat belt on. 5 |
