Brought my hard used 11 year old 14R.2 back to useful life

I have these and the Think Tank Lens Changer 25 v.2.0. Theyre both good, but theyre different. This is for extreme side and bottom protection for your lenses. I wear these on the sides of my belt and the much thinner neoprene case Think Tank Lens Changer in the middle since its padding is much thinner. I only wish they made the 7 into an 8.5 so it could handle a Sony GM 70-200mm f/2.8.

As a long time Hasselblad C series and Nikon mount ZF.2 guy, I expected to see the 25 f1.4 "look" like the Zeiss lenses we hear about. And it does. These babies are a bit like a Ferrari - you just don't know one till you see and hear it. For me, the lack of auto-focus is a sad fact since there really are times I need it - never needed it before, but this ain't "before". Sony(s) have it, why can't I. Still, when I just gotta have it, I take the hit and use an AF zoom. Like I said, for those of you who know anything about Zeiss, this "25" is one of their best and I do have a bunch of others to compare it to.

I connect these headphones into a Sony Playstation Vita and listen to songs using the Sony Music Unlimited application. This gives me adequate emphasis of bass to help me determine the notes which are sometimes difficult to hear and decipher. When wanting to play along to the music simultaneously using either guitar or bass, I simply plug MDR-7506 through the headphone port on subwoofer/amp combo or DI box. The Playstation Vita is then connected to auxillary port using appropriate auxillary cable. I then have the option of muting the output to the internal speaker depending on whether or not I want my neighbors to hear. MDR-7506 also come with a pouch to carry headphones and cable in. The earpads are soft which make extended listening appropriate. Though, I am fearful these pads may breakdown or tear at a faster rate or higher percentage. This is ok since the earpads themselves can be replaced without buying a complete new product. Another concern is the thin wire connection run independently to the left and right speakers. They could become caught within the sliding adjustment piece that is used to accomodate different head sizes. No worry just something to be aware and cautious of in advance. Overall, the sound is excellent with great clarity and bass. The price was just right for my budget. I wanted to splurge and spend more on this component of my system. However, after testing several other higher priced models, I simply could not justify passing up the quality this unit provided. Legitimacy confirmed!

We are just now replacing our old sony mics with new ones. Give Sony Credit these mics where 25 years old. For Lav mics to work that long is really pretty amazing. The new ECM-44's sound great and we know they will last along time if taken care of.

I had not fired up my trusty Nikkormat for over 25 years, but with this new battery, it came back to life. Works great.
