256Gb Ssd Nvme For Macbook Air

This NVMe SSD was the perfect replacement for the anemically-performing 256GB MM2 SSD that came with my gaming laptop. I could not ask for a better drive for OS boots and game storage in such a space-limited and small form factor environment. 5 |

I previously had a 256Gb drive in my old MacBook Air. The 64Gb Transcend helped tremendously with the overload. Now I have a MBP 2021 with a 512Gb drive. Good, right? More memory more better. Right? Eh, not so fast. I knew I still needed a sidecar with this drive even though I have over 160Gb available. So I upped the ante with this 128 Gb Transcend, and I cannot believe how quickly I'm eating up space on it! But it's stuff I don't need everyday on my HD, so it's perfect for archiving but keeping close at hand. I'll pare it down one day, but today is not that day! 5 |

I replaced my stock 256GB SSD for mid-2014 15” MacBook Pro with OWC Aura Pro X2 480GB. The difference is a night and day, if not more. I wish I have done this a few years back. I also have a 2018 MacBook Pro, but I use my 2014 MBP for all the ports it provides. It is amazing how 2014 MBP is still working this well with new SSD! (Optional) I would totally recommend considering cleaning out both fans and reapplying the thermal paste as well if you decided to get more mileage out of your old MacBook Pro. 5 |

I'm using this inside of my mid 2015 MacBook Pro with an NVMe to Apple SSD adapter, and it's working very well. It's very fast, definitely faster than the stock Apple SSD, and with its large capacity and high endurance rating, I expect it to last quite a long time. This is a double sided M2 drive, so the larger version of the NVMe to Apple SSD drive adapter (with its larger PCB) does not fit this drive properly, but the smaller adapter (which is basically just a short connector) fits a MacBook Pro really well. For normal uses outside of a MacBook, this is a standard size double sided M2 drive, so these odd details are probably of no consequence to anyone else, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. I've been very happy with the FireCuda 520 drives in the past, and the 530 is just as nice, and even faster. I can't wait until the 4TB versions become more available and more affordable. Totally happy with this drive! 5 |

AppleCare+ was ordered for my new MacBook Air M2 5 24gb 1 TB SSD at the time of purchase. I feel peace of mind in the event a repair issue arises that is not covered by the Manufacturer's warranty. This also covers damage repair or replacement on 2 occasions. 5 |

This flash drive doubled the drive space of my MacBook Air for a fraction of the price of a SSD. As a bonus, the computer still fits in its sleeve/case since the SanDisk drive is so small. 5 |

I ordered the MacBook Air with M2 chip, 8 GB of ram and 512 GB SSD. It's a greatM laptop. I plan on using it for work. This is my third MAC purchase and I have thoroughly been happy with all of them. The M2 chip seems to work as advertised and with the SSD the computer boots up very fast and applications come up running very quickly. Very happy with purchase! 5 |

I bought this SSD to use as a backup drive for a new MacBook Air that I recently purchased. I have no complaints with this SSD. It's quite compact. I use it for Carbon Copy Cloner backups and am quite impressed with how much faster it is than my old G-Force external drive. Best of all, this drive was relatively inexpensive. 5 |
