27 Inch Monitor Eye Strain

I am using it to connect a 27 inch secondary monitor with no issues.

This iMac 24-inch replaced a late-2014 iMac 27-inch that we bought from B&H almost exactly seven years ago. My wife used that one to create digital art, and it was just time to get a faster machine to keep up with the software advances. The 24-inch screen has not been much of a sacrifice versus the 27-inch. One benefit is that the smaller screen requires less eye movement side to side, which significantly reduces eye fatigue. The pixel density is about the same as the larger 5k screen. No PC offers this quality of screen except Apple. The M1 is much, much faster with Corel Painter than the older machine (as one would expect). The sound system is very good. The only complaint is that Apple makes the worst keyboards. The Magic keyboard that comes with this iMac feels flimsy and junky. Instead, we plugged in a 9-year-old USB Apple keyboard, and it is much, much better. I would say that, if you buy an iMac, prepare to buy an aftermarket keyboard for about $100.

It's seamless and fluid let's you immerse yourself into the game. One thing that I've been concerned with is eye strain and the headaches that go with it. So far there's been no eye strain and no headaches.

One monitor to rule them all. This is a great monitor. Very pleasant to look at with no eye strain, and has so much viewable workspace. A very worthwhile purchase.

This monitor exceeded my already high expectations. I am a digital artist. I have been using computers for design and fabrication since 1985, so I have been around the block a few times. The color accuracy and resolution are outstanding. My main reason for choosing this monitor is the ability to use either landscape or portrait view by rotating the screen on a gimbal. Game changer for a desktop. This monitor is unlike anything on the market. It sets up high so you can turn it to portrait mode which at first concerned ,me. Wrong! It sets at a perfect eye level height, reducing back strain and eye strain. I LOVE this monitor and B&H delivers it's longstanding great service and fast delivery. Go get one. You get what you pay for. Word of advice: This monitor is a video card monster, it needs at least a mid-range graphics card to get the full effect. It will work, but you will loose it's remarkable image quality.

Beautiful. This monitor is absolutely beautiful. From the moment you unpack it till you finish using it for the day, this is just a gorgeous piece of equipment. Positives: - Amazing to look at… even when off - No eye strain, even after a 10 hours of constant use - Great connection options - Fast refresh times - Excellent resolution - Curved Negatives: - Back cover for cord management is flimsy - Expensive This monitor replaced two IPS 19’’ monitors. When using those, I had noticed that I could not sit in front of them for a long time; but with this Samsung monitor, I can spend an inordinate amount of time without any eye strain or feeling uncomfortable. While a curved TV seems like a gimmick, using a curved monitor is absolutely amazing. You sit close enough in front of the monitor that having a curved screen actually seems to “envelop” your view. The colors are comparable to the older IPS monitors, but the single wide screen monitor really makes everything immersive as there is no “break” in content. The biggest negative that I could find is the price. This is an expensive product, no way around it. The other minor quibble is that in order to “hide” the power and connection cord in the back of the monitor, the back plastic plate is really flimsy and can easily fall out as there isn’t a locking / snapping mechanism. Fortunately, once set, this becomes a moot point. I recommend this for anyone looking for a top of the line monitor.

This is a fantastic monitor arm. It's easy to set up. It is well balanced. I have a 27 inch monitor that works fantastic on it.
