27 Qhd 165Hz Gaming Monitor

I recently picked up the LG 27 ULTRAGEAR™ QHD monitor, and it's been a revelation for my gaming and everyday computer use. The difference the 240Hz refresh rate makes in smoothness is amazing—everything from scrolling through web pages to moving windows around feels more fluid. Movies and games look incredibly sharp. It's not the cheapest monitor out there, but considering how much it's improved my daily computer experience, I'd say it's been a fantastic investment. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a hobbyist photographer/videographer (I sell products but it's not my full time job) and this monitor has been excellent so far for editing. For the past several years my setup has been three 27" QHD (2K) monitors, but I recently got into drone photography and decided to replace one of the monitors with something bigger to help with editing the larger landscape photos (it has helped). I also recently built a new computer and wanted to get a 4K monitor to take advantage of the upgraded video card (that was more of a "want" than a "need" but it was definitely worth it). As for gaming, I'm way too old to be hardcore lol. For the games I do play - WOW, (non-hardcore) MOBA, strategy/simulations, etc - this monitor is a huge upgrade from a 27" QHD and delivers excellent performance. The monitor arrived well packaged with no dead pixels or any other problems. The stand isn't anything fancy but it serves its purpose - height & angle adjustability more than meet my needs (I'll probably eventually get an arm and mount it like my other 2 monitors to free up some desk space). There were some cables in the box but my desk is a little distance from my computer so I ordered a longer cable (Cable Matters DP 1.4, 16 feet) for 20 bucks and it works fine. The monitor's color gamut and brightness are great for my needs and it calibrated easily using my Spyder. I haven't used the speakers. If you need more than a billion colors, built-in hardware color calibration or an insane refresh rate, this monitor isn't for you - you'll either need to get a smaller monitor pay a lot more. But for general use, this is great monitor for the price! I've had it for 2 weeks and am very happy with the purchase. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my monitor as a primary monitor for gaming and scrolling thru browsers as is very smooth with its 165hz panel and 1ms response time, and the smoothness compare to a 60hz monitor or even a 120hz monitor is very noticeable and satisfying to look at, 165hz is the sweetspot in gaming for me. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my G32A monitor mostly for gaming, and it is really satisfying to use. The 165hz refresh rate is very smooth on the eyes and there is no sort of problems so far with the pixels. 5 |

Easy install and works great paired with the V90-V AX. Installed with a QHD gaming monitor and the video graphics are outstanding 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am using this monitor for both work and gaming, and it excels at both. Having a QHD monitor gives me more room to work but isn't super overbearing when I need to share my screen to folks with FHD like 4k is. The higher refresh rate is great to keep motion blur of videos and cursor to a minumum. As for gaming, this does as well as you could expect for a budget style type of monitor more focused at productivity. It does what I need it to when I'm in my office gaming, but if you're an avid gamer, I recommend you find one of Samsung's gaming-centric monitors for the features you'll need. 5 |

Bought two monitors, one for me and another for my wife. I went from 32 (1440p as well) to 27, but these are 165Hz. Some people might say they can't tell the difference between 144Hz and 165Hz, I actually can and it's very impressive how responsive it is. Colors seem too bright in my opinion, but it can be fixed from the settings. It might not have Adobe RGB but that's why I can use the 32 for. Giving 5-stars because if you just want it for gaming and/or watching videos is not bad at all. 5 |

I saw a review for a Wacom Cintiq QHD 27” (about 20 pounds) with this arm and I compared the weight to my new Cintiq Pro 24” (about 15 pounds) they werent too far away from one another. I didn’t see a problem so I tried it as the specs said that the arm can accommodate 20-25 pounds of weight. Of course you still need to get the Wacom VESA Mount (about 4 pounds) with this Desk Arm Mount for it to work, and it works! See images! 5 |
