27 Touch Screen Monitor Reviews

I have been waiting and searching for a +/- 27/28, touch screen, 4K monitor for several years. no one made it except a couple of very expensive commercial units (+/-$3-4k). This is the first product I've found that checks all of the boxes, plus being $1K. Excellent image, very good color, very interactive touch, fully compatible with my PC notebook computer. I really highly recommend it. 5 |

I was replacing a 5K retina iMac Pro, so I was nervous about this, but a 27 monitor wasn't enough for my aging eyes anymore. I really wanted the other Apple brand 34 monitor, but we all know how expensive and old that technology is. And their other monitors are also 27, so Apple was out. After watching a lot of videos and reading reviews, I landed on this monitor as a companion to my new Mac Studio. While this monitor does not hold up to the Retina display quality, it is good enough. I don't mean that as a knock. I mean it's a high quality monitor that is what you need it to be. It doesn't output at Apple nit levels, but in my office (which has 6 curtained windows), I never used the Apple brightness over 1/3rd of what it could do. I have used this monitor at full brightness with the curtains pulled back, and it's more than enough. I'm torn on the matte finish of the display. On one hand, it has almost no glare, which is great! But I'm just used to the glossy/glassy coating on Apple which feels like a crystal clear image, where on this monitor, if your font is too small, you can start to see the pixel breakdown. But once you get everything configured properly, you won't want to go back. I got this monitor because I needed more space on the desktop (the virtual desktop I mean) and because my eyes are aging or degrading (I have double vision and other undiagnosed eye problems, so I'm not the average user). After switching to this monitor, I have less strain on my eyes. I don't know if it is due to the larger screen (I am using about the same font size though) or was due to the glossy screen I was using before. As far as quality, you can find plenty of reviews on the color gamut and quality. I'm no expert, but the image clarity and color space appears to be great. I don't notice any washout or bright spots on the display. If you pair this with a Mac studio, you'll be very happy. 5 |

Took care of a weird screen issue I was having with my Asus PQ 27 G-Sync monitor. Periodic flickering with the OEM cable. This eliminated that. 5 |

I searched for a 27 monitor, And by chance I found an advertisement about this monitor on YouTube, At that time there was no review of it, so I was comparing based on the specifications only, I preordered it and waited 7 months, I thought about canceling my preorder more than once to buy the 5K LG monitor, I'm glad I didn't. I was afraid for more than one reason, this is my first HD monitor i got used to laptop screen mostly MacBook Pro 15. After using the monitor for a month this is my opinion (Keep in mind that I haven't tried other monitors and my opinion is based on my little experience with laptop screens and monitors I used in my work place.: 1- Excellent clarity 2- the screen size is a very useful addition, especially if you are video editor or using image-editing programs such as LR, I am running three apps at the same time without any problem. Currently, I do not feel comfortable working on laptop because I am used to the space provided by this monitor. 2- You can't see the pixels even if you are close to the screen 3- It is compatible with the Apple device, I did not face any problem with this (MBP 2017). 4- BenQ app (Display pilot) & hotkey make everything easy. 5 |

I honestly didn't comprehend how large this screen was when I bought it, but 27 inches for a computer monitor is enough monitor for anyone doing normal computer things or working from home. I would certainly buy this product again, and had originally planned on buying a second for a two monitor set up, but the size of the monitor is already big enough for me to have two documents open at one time, so no need. 5 |

I have used the ASUS ROG STRIX 32 4K HDR 160 Hz Gaming Monitor for over three months now and I still love it the way I did day one. This ASUS monitor replaced a low-end Samsung 27 monitor that I have had for a long time. Before the Samsung monitor, I had one of the first Gateway 1080P 27 monitors (which was a great gaming monitor in its day). I now wanted a new monitor to replace my Samsung due to my recent computer upgrade (which will easily go to 4K resolution with my new 4070TI Nvidia video card) during the Christmas holidays. I saw the ASUS (and I am a big ASUS fan) here on B&H, researched a little, and decided to pull the trigger on the purchase. I was not disappointed at all, even though the price was a little steeper than what I was looking to spend. This ASUS monitor is very fast, and the colors are vibrant and true. Its stand is one of the best that I have seen and owned. The on-screen menu is very informative with the availability of a few tweaks and features not found on other monitors in this class. If you are into digital creation, this should be one of the monitors for you to consider. Lastly, with an industry leading 2-year warranty from ASUS (register it at ASUS to be sure you are in the system), you can't go wrong if you are in the market looking for a higher quality 32 4K monitor. You can buy the latest PC build, but don't hesitate to upgrade what matters most, the screen on which you work/play. I would definitely buy another one of these ... if I only had room on my desk. Maybe a desk upgrade is in my future ... 5 |

I bought this monitor as a second display for a 27 Intel iMac. After 2 1/2 years I'm still very happy with it. Pros: it works great and looks wonderful. If you're getting this the built-in stand is probably a decision factor, and I can report that it is excellent. I have it mounted on the provided clamp (quite secure) in the corner of my 60 adjustable-height desk, and with the arm extended it sits right next to my centered iMac screen at a very comfortable angle. I've dreaded height adjustments on monitor arms before, but this one slides up and down smoothly like a breeze. It still holds firm after 2 years but is easy to move with a comfortable pressure. And the 90 degree rotation has been useful for viewing long documents. (Height adjustability comes in handy there, too!) As for the screen itself: P3 color and HDR are great. 60Hz refresh is fine for my purposes (coding, business apps, and some design work). The USB-C connection works flawlessly most of the time. The matte finish is nice and nicely mutes reflections from the window behind me. I wish it was a bit brighter to match the iMac, but it's a small inconvenience on bright days. It also doesn't work with macOS's brightness controls — you have to manually change brightness using the button on the bottom of the monitor (pretty easy to do, and I rarely have to touch it). It is a 4K monitor, so at 27 it doesn't have quite the same UI crispness of the iMac's 5K display. Set your expectations accordingly. However, I've set its resolution to 2560x1440, the same as my iMac screen so the scale is the same on both, and the difference is very minor. If you want more space at the expense of a smaller UI, 3200x1800 also works on both the LG and 27 iMac and looks great. 5 |

I previously had a 27” Dell monitor on my work computer that cost me around $700 and was 1440p. I was a little disappointed with it. It had a noticeable dot pattern at certain viewing distances. Almost like a screen door effect. It also wasn’t uniform in color. If you put up a white image it would have a pinkish hue on the right side of the screen and fade into a more neutral tone on the left. This monitor on the other hand looks great and is very uniform. I can’t see any variation in color. The Stand is top notch and the frame fit and finish is good. The controls are fantastic. Couldn’t be happier. I plan to buy a second for my personal computer. 5 |

This monitor is very nicely built and the display is impressive. While the screen is not quite as bright as my 27 5K iMac, the overall display quality is very good and colors are accurate. BenQ's power supply is internal, another plus. The BenQ display has no problems waking from my Apple Studio's computer sleep mode, my HP monitor required being powered off and back on each time. 5 |

I'm a gamer, mostly single player, not competitive, and even though I have a 27" / 144Hz gaming monitor I'm using this monitor as my main screen for my PC and my PS5. The screen looks so good that it's hard to go back to an IPS screen with low contrast and a matte finish, even though it's bigger and faster. With 400 Nits, it's brighter than many ultra expensive OLED monitors, and it has a glossy screen, that's a big plus. Totally recommended! 5 |
