2800 Mah Slow Discharge Rechargeable Battery

I used to use regular Powereex 2700 mah batteries which they were excellent but had slow self discharge issue. These new Precharged ones hold the charge much longer when they are not in use and they last for a long time when they are in use.

I merely checked voltage, discharge rate, and mah for the battery in the older Gossen flash/ambient meter, and found that the Exell battery A220/504A matched. A square tubular sleeve of cardstock, no tape required, positions the battery properly in the meter. Remember to remove battery when the meter is not in use, however, for remember- it is still an alkaline battery, and those beasts tend to be subject to leakage, especially the stuff from Duracell, in my experience.

If you use rechargeable batteries, this is a must. I love that each battery is charged on it's own circuit so the all gat fully charged, and not just charged until the first one is full. The Discharge feature is also great, and valuable to refresh batteries.

This charger can charge up to eight rechargeable batteries. It can also discharge them first, if you want, but I don't think that's at all necessary with NiMH batteries. A small display panel below each battery shows the discharge/charge state of the battery in that slot.

Higher mAh rating yields longer usage time than most other rechargeable.

Works as well or better than OEM especially since it's higher a mAh battery.

Good battery, even at 6300 mah still better than my 7200 aftermarket

Works great, the discharge function should improve battery life.

I purchased the 3400 mAh Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery for my LEDlenser ML6 Lantern so that I would have a spare. The lantern comes with a stock 3000 mAh OEM battery. Using a battery analyzer made for testing of Lithium Ion 18650 batteries, I placed both batteries side by side. I ran four tests that Charged/Discharged and Charged again. I wanted to both exercise the new batteries, as well as compare their performance 3000 mAh vs 3400 mAh. Surprisingly the 3000 mAh battery out performed the 3400 mAh battery by a great deal. This was disappointing to have purchased a top notch battery so I would have extra capacity for my ML6 Lantern. Perhaps the company should question their supplier. Battery works great but wished i would have bought the higher mAh like the 1200 to 1600 mAh battery.
