29 Inch Flat Screen Gaming Computer Monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently, I got the opportunity to test out the LG 29” UltraWide FHD HDR FreeSync Monitor with USB Type C. First off, I didn’t know how much a better monitor experience could give and I got to say this blew my expectations away. It was much bigger than I expected and now it's harder for me to use a smaller screen with this one spanning 29 inches. My current monitor is at 15 inches and yet this one feels like it's three times the size. Even having two screens side by side doesn’t compare. The full setup took less than 10 minutes before having it connected and exploring the features. So far I’ve thrown gaming, window multitasking, videos/movies, and 3D CAD design. Each one performed great and using the full real estate of the screen improved each area. For example, I found myself more immersed in my gaming/video experience than before. Also, I love simplistic/modern design with near edge to edge screen and subtle red accent color on the base. Now if only I can work solely from home on my new and vastly improved setup. I love my monitor. I upgraded from a 28" flat screen. Gaming is terrific on this monitor. I love the extra real estate that I have to work now.

The main things I was looking out for when upgrading to a 32:9 was Color Accuracy for editing photo and video as well as good performance for gaming. 95% DCIP3 color accuracy was plenty for my needs personally and I am using 16 bit 100MP GFX 100 files. A 200hz refresh rate is more than I will ever see in most games that I play. The brightness is 400 cd/m^2 which is more than my second ultrawide and plenty for the environment I use this in. Usage wise, You definitely dont NEED 45in of ultrawide display but in gaming (if the game supports it), it is absolutely gorgeous. Being able to watch a movie while I am editing is also pretty nice as well. The only downside I have really come across is the fact that it has about an inch less screen height wise. My old 21:9 Ultrawide monitor had a screen height of 14.29". So while I obviously gained a vast amount of screen real estate horizontally, I lost about a little over an inch in height. This is negligible in my opinion but it would have been the icing on the cake if it was also the same vertical size. It was really the only flaw I could come up with. Genuinely love the monitor. Overall I think if youre debating on making the switch to 32:9 from 21:9 this is a fantastic intro into it before shelling out a bunch of money for bigger OLED options.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Currently using this monitor for gaming with a PS5, and as a monitor for my computer. The versatile functionality is amazing. Using it as a regular screen for gaming is amazing with. Nice gaming and crisp detail. Currently playing Horizon - Forbidden West and the details are perfect. Also use it for school to have more screen space from my computer. Connects easily with USB-C and no resolution is lost. I'm able to open (4) windows and multi-tasking when writing essays and research. Lastly as a streaming and watching shows or using the local TV is easy, but it's a little tricky at first having to set it with SmartThings. You do need internet for the initial update. Other than that the Smart Monitor M7 is perfect for all types of work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The computer monitor is very nice! I use it for gaming with my ps5. It has great graphics. The curve is perfect for more of a 3d look to the screen while gaming. It gives you the different options of screen size which is also nice. The only thing I'm not a fan of is no speakers on this monitor. But great purchase overall!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a 29" curved monitor first and it was starting to do things monitors do when they have had enough of life, so I went shopping for a new one. First I tried an LG Ultrawide flat but ended up donating it to my husband for gaming as I really missed the curve and the ease of peripheral vision in gaming. Then I started working from home, and while most of my colleages have 2 or 3 monitors scattered around their workspace, I have 1, simplifying my life. It's kinda big, I don't recommend it for just any space, I affectionately refer to it as my surfboard, but it's a great monitor and I'm glad I went for it.

Bought this one to replace an 5-year old 29 Dell monitor. Love the screen size with IPS and decent color. Good for long-hour working. The only downside is not height-adjustment. HIghly recommend those who wants a simple HD monitor with big size.

We have purchased several of these to mount 65 inch flat screen TVs. They are sturdy and support a small tilt, if required.

Exactly what I was looking for. I mounted a 50 inch flat screen with no issues. Shelves are perfect for components and hiding wires. Great for a smaller space.

I bought it to use it with a 60 inch flat screen. It came fast, it was easy to put it together and it looks very nice. It feels sturdy and well made. The only little thing missing - limited tilting adjustment (2 positions only) but I can live with that.
