2K Hdr 165Hz Curved Monitor

This was one of my first curved monitors and still is one of my favorites. It's really good for a PC or a PS5 because the PS5 has a 120hz mode in some games, mainly FPS games. The colors are good, and the game plus is awesome! Game plus lets you do anything from keep an eye on your frames per second to putting a crosshair on your screen. I haven't noticed anything negative with it being curved, or any eye strain. It doesn't seem to have much glare, and you can view at multiple angles without problems. I mounted it to some hydraulic stands so, they are light enough for that and to move around. They are durable, for a monitor. I feel like the curved helps with bigger monitors. I haven't quite figured out the HDR but that's with any of my monitors. HDR seems to be more of a marketing thing. Unless you are planning on spending a ton of money on a monitor, don't worry about HDR. The one I bought was a 32 in, but it might be a little too big for what I'm using it for. I don't regret getting this monitor. I recommended ASUS curved monitors to some coworkers and they like them as well. You can't go wrong with this monitor. I have bought at lot of ASUS. Most of my PC is ASUS. I like their stuff. The TUF series cost to performance is tough to beat and the ROG stuff is really nice when you want it all! I'm not sure about customer service yet. I haven't had any issues with my monitors. They are currently in the process of repair a graphics card under warranty and so far, it hasn't been a bad experience.

All good using G-Sync and HDR while gaming, 165hz works on Mac too. Chin a bit wider than my older LG, but all good. Looks good with the 'gamer stand' removed and VESA mounted.

In particular, one of the features that I like is the 24-hour parking monitor, which allows me to look on my phone and check the camera footage whenever and wherever. I needed a color accurate 2k 27, and this has been near perfect. Though not HDR, it is bright and punchy. I had to play around with the settings a bit to get it to where I needed it, as it was too much out of the box. (I'd rather turn down than not have headroom.) VRR works flawlessly with my 6700xt, and it displays at 120hz when plugged into my Mac for work. There is a bit of IPS bleed at the corners, but I can get over it. One word of caution: The second DisplayPort is for daisy chaining ONLY. If you want to plug this in to two machines, you will need to use one HDMI and one DP. I did not read that before purchase, but found it in their documentation after. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. B&H Photo, of course, was efficient and professional. as always.
