I use this card to transfer photos from a 2TB thunderbolt drive to a computer that doesn't have thunderbolt. It works. I have found that as these cards heat up the transfer speed decreases, I filled a plastic container with ice, put the lid on and set the card reader on top. This kept the reader and card cold and the transfer speed much higher, 5 |

I have now put three of the SN850X drives in my computer 2 of them a re 4TB and the other is a 2TB. All of them are running perfectly with zero issues. I love that WD provides the best drive clone software you can get with your drives for free. This is not a program they made but one that is made separately and they purchase for you to use to have the easiest time when you do finally need to replace an SSD at its end of life. I had a 970 Samsung that had started to fail and I was able to clone it before it died all together. I got one for my nephew and tried it in his system a MSI Bravo 15 laptop and it would not play well with that system. I found out MSI in those laptops do not like that high of speed of a drive. I found this funny because MSI says it is a gaming Computer. 5 |

This is a solid hard drive. I wanted a good 2TB hard drive to use as a backup drive in my Windows 7 home computer. Using hard drives larger than 2TB is painful with Window 7. So, I wanted to get as much storage as I could. B&H had a GREAT price on this drive. 5 |

I received my 2TB external hard drive 2 days ago and have since backed up all the data on my computer. The external is quick and reliable thus far and I'm overall very pleased with the product and price. The external was $$cheaper here *so I was able to justify purchasing 3 years of warranty with my savings. This is my first B&H purchase, and I will be back for many more :).Best,Tara 5 |
