These are as basic as it gets... and that's fine with me. While being able to transmit TTL data would be nice, that comes with a higher price and, for me, the price of these were right. I bought this transmitter/receiver combo and 3 more receivers and, so far, all my test setups have met all my expectations. I used them with my studio flash kit and with my SB600 and really-well-broken-in Vivitar speedlights without a problem. You must, of course, set everything on manual, but I'm very old school and 99.5% of the time use my DSLR on manual anyway. 5 |

I already have the wireless M1 monitors and wanted this transmitter because I know that now I can mount this to my camera and have it transmit the camera's feed to both my Mars M1 monitors. They work flawlessly and now I don't need to have my monitor on my camera to get a wireless feed going. If you are already in the hollyland ecosystem then this is a great addition to it 5 |
