Standing design is only good for a cheap case (convection), bad for stability. I destroyed one of these by tipping it from standing to laying flat accidentally, while in use. How fragile is that? I managed to get a replacement after shipping it to WD operations in Vietnam (register it on the WD support website with your receipt and request RMA). If you will be carrying this drive around or it won't be in a place that it can't get knocked down flat, do yourself a favour and buy a vertical enclosure instead of the standing one. 5 |

Physical size looks like a miniature. The thin metal cools the electronics by convection. It gets warm to the touch but it is not a problem... 5 |

Kill two birds with one stone, diffuse and reflect the 30 inch was a perfect choice for this go round and will be purchasing a larger one down the road. I did several indoor portrait shots as well and it bounced wonderfully. The striped silver is awsome beautifull balance. Great build, it will last a long time. 5 |
