30 Wide Upright Freezer

These stands are built with quality and are very strong. Legs spread wide enough that keep it upright even at 12 feet high. Leveling leg is a must for uneven surfaces. 5 |

I use this in my studio with a b800 and a large octabox. The wide base keeps it upright and has never fallen over. Only compaint is that is kind of noisy. 5 |

I purchased this lens along with the X1D body, so it is the lens I was using as I got to know and love the X1D. The purchase was from a Canadian store so I'm not listed as a verified purchaser. With the exchange rate it simply wasn't worth it despite B&H's excellent pricing, but I digress. This lens is absolutely stunning. Crystal sharp and amazing performance in every regard. I use it for landscape and astro, and especially for medium wide angle shots of storm fronts and lightning, which it simply eats up. Other XCD lenses, with the exception of the stunning 21, do not seem to be in the same class as this incredible piece of glass, both in terms of image quality and general quality of build and performance. I also own the 65 and 90. Despite the wide field of view the images stitch extremely well in PTGui so it is a great option for multirow panos. If I had to choose only one XCD lens it would be a tough call between the 21 and the 30, but I'd select the 30. 5 |

For most people it's probably 1 job in 30 or 40 that you need a wide gear for a lens with a traveling element, but when one comes up, it's inevitably thrown at you without notice. I recently bought a single channel arri WFF w/ a cforce mini RF, so I immediately ordered this gear to keep in the case...just in case. 5 |

Prior to getting a Nikon Z6, I used the Nikon AF-S 18-35 G on my Nikon D750. I kept that lens to use on my Z6 as I need an ultra wide lens for group photos of political events. Now that I have the Z 14-30, the old AF-S lens will be sold or traded. The new Z 14-30 used on the Z6 provides a more useful wide angle capture is sharper; the color rendition of the files is noticeably better in my experience; in my use, I have found the edges to be sharp. The Z lens is just a tad heavier by about 3 oz so that is not an issue for me. With the recent Nikon sale price of the Z 14-30, the lens is a real bargain in my view. I highly recommend it. 5 |
