One look at these parts and you realize that they are nicely made, high quality and well thought out. The manufacturer provides a nylon washer that fits inside the bottom of the female thread to cushion the fully engaged adapter. Pleasure to see this quality. 5 |

This is a high-quality alternative to the $3000+ f/2.8 telephoto lenses. I use it for wildlife - mostly birds - after saving up for a sharp lens fast enough for birds in flight. I bought a used Sigma 100-300mm a year ago with disappointingly softer focus than this Pentax prime lens. I considered the Sigma 150-500mm (Bigma) for about the same price, but I knew I would use it mostly at the long end, so I went for the higher IQ of the 300mm prime. I have a Kenko 1.5x teleconverter that I believe is sharper combo with the 300mm than the Bigma zoom. One complaint: one of the plastic hood bayonet connections broke in shipping, but super-glue seems to be holding well! 5 |

I checked PSI website for correct swab to clean my Nikon D500. They recommended the Type 3 - 24mm you use for full frame . Don't use it. The Type 3 - 17mm swab is the best one to use for a crop sensor. I had to use 3 swabs to get the sensor really clean. There also a magnifier with a light built in you can use to view the sensor. Definitely get it . So worth the $15 5 |
