30S Motorola Console Radio

The Motorola CLS - 1110 is a fine handheld radio. It has decent range and can be programmed so as not to interfere with other radio frequencies. More than the radio, however, I was totally sold on the customer service I got from B&H. It was as good as I could have imagined leaving no room to ask for more. Thanks-

The CLS-1110 2-way radio by Motorola is small, lightweight and easily accessible for my assisted living staff. If only there was a way to eliminate the protruding antenna (can easily get in the way), this would be the world's most perfect unit!

I needed an analog audio DA for a rebuilt radio console. I could have recapped a higher end purpose built DA but the thought of replacing 75 or so capacitors wasn't appealing. For the price the Rolls has excellent specs and I expect it will last in my home studio. Good product at a great price.

I have had several Moto phones throughout the years and Motorola has never disapointed.

I have only had this for a month, but really enjoy the scanner. I have done some recent color pics, as well as some b/w from the 30s. They are all turning out great... I am very happy with this purchase...

I am pleased with the slimmer size and switching from old Motorola to new was a breeze.

I have been using Motorola Phones for years but so far, this is the best one yet! I love the battery life more than anything.

I have been using Westone in-ears for over a decade and I have loved all three pairs I owned. My first pair of UM2's lasted 10 years before I stepped on one of them, I tried gluing them back together but decided I might as well buy new ones. My second pair were UM Pro 30s and they have been going strong for 4 years. I bought this pair of Pro X20s for my wife, but I have been using them the past two weeks. I cannot tell any sound difference between these X20s and the 30s I have, but I will also note that I use them for drumming and haven't listened to them back to back. The biggest difference I have noticed is how light the wire is on these X20s. It is so light and flexible, I can barely tell it is there. When I put them on, I cannot feel the wire at all. Very different than the thick, black, twisted wire on the old UM2 and 30s I have. One last thing I have noticed over the years - Westone in-ears require significantly less volume than any other in-ears I have seen or tried. Before I plug them in to a foreign sound source, I always cut the volume at least 75% from what the last in-ears required. I've also mistakenly blasted full volume sound through both pairs of my older UM2s and 30s without damaging them whatsoever. Definitely worth the price! Go with Westone, you won't regret it.

Pros: 1. Super compact. It allows me to shoot cityscape at night, 1/30s hand-held, successful 90% of the time! 2. Great sharpness enough for my A7RIII. 3. Good bokeh if you don't always need to zoom in to 100%. Round point light bokeh across the frame at F/4. Cons: onion rings bokeh visible if you zoom in to 100%, and a lot of lemon-shape bokeh at F/2.8. So I always shoot portraits at F/4. Overall a perfect lens. I would rather not go for the super heavy and expensive GM.

I had been using audio technicas-30s for field monitoring for video. I left them on a job and needed a replacement headphones. I really like the sennheiser because of the light weight and great sound. I have only used them twice, but was very happy.
