326 Watch Battery

Great battery life. Simple watch. Lots of third-party app 5 |

Would still like a camera and more battery life. Perhaps someday the watch band will become smart... Maybe an optional third party watch band with a battery and camera and strap connector acts as contacts to the watch... 5 |

The gimbal, after you balance it, is great. Watch YouTube videos they're a bunch. Just make sure your cameras battery is fully charged when it's time to shoot for real. It's a little bit of a pain to take off gimbal and change battery and then get back to work. Focus work brilliantly and is suprising how well it works. Gh5 users... please make sure the battery is full and the card... if not you have to break it down to access them... not fun. All said, it's great for both business and busy work. I would buy again. 5 |

The P-326 coupled with a C-10S ball head tips the scale at 629 grams (less if you ditch the strap) and 18 inches in length collapsed. It's a great monopod to slap on a sling or small backpack. 5 |

I think P-326 is the most compact with excellent quality. Everything is well designed and there is no complaint at all. What I impressed is when I twist the lock, I feel a click for telling me unlock and lock. This enables to use very quickly. 5 |

I'll start with a summary of the P-326: it's a VERY compact and lightweight. It is a well built monopod that doubles as a hiking stick and can handle larger camera gear. I purchased the Sirui P-326 to replace a Pro-Master mp528c carbon fiber monopod with similar specs that was lost. I loved the Pro-Master, but the Sirui is just superior in many respects; I expect to love it much more. To compare; both monopods are very sturdy and work very well as hiking sticks. They are both light weigh carbon fiber monopods with non-removable feet and telescope down to a good compact size. They can double as walking sticks as both are rated for 20 lbs of weigh or more. They both have a metal spike that extends from the rubber foot. Both have reversing 1/4 3/8 thread screw mounts for cameras, ball heads, or my favorite Manfrotto tilt head with quick release plate especially designed for monopods. BUT --The Sirui has the following advantages. -It's about 40% cheaper! -It's shorter at less than 16 inches. This makes it short enough to put -in any standard backpack with ease. -It's lighter at .9 LB. For someone with arthritis, this is a big plus! -It's extends to 61 inches. I'm short and don't normally need the extra length, but I also hike and the added height is often helpful on slopes. -The top-plate is better quality. The hard plastic almost feels like metal. I feel very secure attaching my cameras to this monopod. -It comes with a compass and carbiner. OK, not necessities, but still nice since I'll often use it for hiking. There are only two very minor downsides. First is that the hand strap doesn't have a cinch to adjust the height. Never the less, I still find it comfortable. The second is Sirui's not always honoring warranties because they say sellers were unauthorized. I was able to register my monopod (obviously B&H is authorized!) so that seems to be a non-issue too. 5 |

Length: The number one selling point for this monopod is the short foldable length of 15.5 inches where a longer monopod is less portable both for storage and to carry around. The Gitzo GM2562T is shorter at 14.2 inches but the last 2 legs at the bottom are smaller (not as strong), although they are both 6 sections monopod. The P-326 can be easily fitted into a backpack or a small to medium camera bag. You probably will use it more than the longer one. Size: The largest leg diameter at the top has a size of 32mm, comparable to the Gitzo 3 series that cost 4 times the price. The size of the last leg at the bottom of the P-326 is reasonable, not super tinny like other 6-sections. Weight: Being a carbon monopod, it is also very light for less than a pound. Build: The build quality is very solid and it is similar to my Gitzo tripod. The carbon and the twist lock are very similar. When its fully extended and locked in place, the P-326 is very stable and solid. Others: Besides the more expensive and high quality Gitzo and RRS or perhaps FLM, there are other similar made-in-Asia monopods available in the market, like Induro, Benro, Giottos . . .etc. The P-326 offers the shortest foldable length and larger leg diameter in 6-sections with a reasonable price. 5 |

Rather than schlep a tripod, I bought the Sirui P-326 monopod instead. It is extremely light-weight, compact, sturdy, and easy to use (silly compass aside). During game drives, it provided much-needed stability for my Nikon D200 with 70-300 mm zoom. I suspect I will find myself using the Sirui rather than my Manfrotto tripod in numerous situations now that I am comfortable with it. 5 |
