3.5 Inch Bluetooth Adapter

2024-05-17 01:44:45

Just installed my first SSD, 250GB Crucial BX100, using this adapter, part no. BRACKET25X2, which included 2 SATA cables and a SATA "Y" power cable for two drives as well as the 3.5 inch to 2.5 inch adapter. The part is not only well designed, fitting the SSD perfectly, but included all the hardware to mount two 2.5 inch SATA drives in the 3.5 inch "floppy drive" slot on my old Dell Optiplex 755. Only issue was the four fiber washers that would not fit: being concerned that they were necessary, I called Tech Support and wonder of wonders at 3:30PM EDT an agent picked up the call after about a 1 minute wait! All I can say is that I will not hesitate to buy more StarTech products if this one is typical of the rest of their product line.

To bad it doesn't include a 2.5 to 3.5 adapter.

This is simply an excellent value to enable converting a 3.5 inch HDD to a 2.5 inch SDD.

I gave it 5 stars but I haven't tried it yet. To operate on 3.5 inch HD it needs a power supply. On its box it says Requirements: 12V 3.5 x 1.35 mm center pin positive.

so just fyi if you adapt a mic with a 3.5mm TRS plug to XLR, heres a really useful tip adapting what looks like a 3.5mm stereo jack to a 1/4 inch jack to the XLR adapter you will wanna use a 3.5 mm jack to a 1/4 inch MONO jack. otherwise you will not get a signal. i know it seens like a 3.5 stereo jack to a 1/4 inch jack seems like what ya wanna do. And a lot of people make this assumtion, i did. Just figured id share this info for anyone who is trying to troubleshoot why they are getting no XLR input.

Fits two 3.5 inch hard drives perfectly! I use this to house a few backup hard drives at an off-site location for backup.

I have tried it so far on a Windows 10 Pro machine. I have tried it with 3.5 inch SATA HDDs at 7200 RPM and 5400 RPM. I've tried it with 2.5 inch SATA SSD. It works great.

I bought this case for a valuable S&W 27-2 with a 3.5 inch barrel, and it is a perfect fit. Protection from damage and moisture, secure locking system, and as durable as they come. I would recommend Pelican products for any storage uses. They make a fine portable light as well, as well as handlights for divers. All pros, no cons. I also have my Canon SX130IS digital stored in a Pelican case as well.
