3.5 Mm External Bluetooth Microphone

This adapter works just as well as the SC4 in connecting a microphone to a smartphone...one only needs a 3.5mm male-female cable. I use it with my iPhone and a Zoom H4N Pro as the microphone.

I was looking for a way to bring external audio into my iPad without resorting to an external audio interface. I found that some simple apps, for example the iPad's built-in video camera, don't always recognize pro audio interfaces even if designed for iOS devices. Since this cable just utilizes the ubiquitous mic input on the iPad, it works perfectly. You can run your mixing board output(s) straight into this. It has the internal circuitry needed to do the line-to-mic conversion and (if needed) summing, and other protections. Of course you get mono into your device whether one or both XLRs are connected. It was well worth it to me to not have to figure out the proper circuit and then kludge solder something up on my own. For being molded it is well constructed. I suggest being careful with the 3.5mm end and not stress it or your iPad/Phone jack by dangling this adapter with heavy XLR connectors from your iPad/Phone. Use a lighter-weight 3.5mm extension cable at the iPad first or otherwise strain relief the 3.5mm at the iPad/Phone some way.

Great cable for using with external mics that use a 3.5mm to xlr input on cameras. Measure the size you need since they manufacture 1 & 1.5 foot of the same cable.

For those of you who want a flagship phone, AND, an external SD memory card port, and an audiofile 3.5 mm headphone jack available, along with an awesome amount of memory with no lagging, this is the phone for you. Screen resolution and colors are superior. Camera takes excellent photos with so many options. Apps open up quickly. Updates and upgrades are standing by if need be. If you're considering a Samsung Galaxy S23 ultra or S22 etc, or the iPhone 14 Pro, etc, make sure you consider this phone. You won't regret it.
