35Mm To Digital Camera

2024-09-16 07:39:19

For my 35mm film/digital systems. Easy to cut/assemble the TrekPak dividers. Cameras, lenses, camera+lenses fit very well. Did have to remove the camera straps for a better camera fit. The quick-disconnect straps now have their own space. To eliminate any small wiggle with items, used 12in x 12in x 1/8in foam wrap sheets to further secure. The foam sheets (or any padding you may have) will also come in handy to cover the inside wheel and handle areas. Now it's Perfect+++! If you want a heavy, solid case, this is it.

Negative Supply makes a very comprehensive system for scanning film in all formats by using a digital camera and a macro lens. I needed to scan 35mm, so I bought the 35mm LED light source, the 35mm Pro Film Carrier, and the Basic Riser (to which I mounted my digital camera). Everything worked perfectly! By using this system, negatives can be scanned quite quickly, doing an entire roll in a few minutes. Mounting the camera on the riser makes the camera perfectly parallel to the film. The film carrier keeps the film flat and, combined for a good macro lens, my scans were very sharp. Negative Supply's website (www.negative.supply) has a complete explanation of the entire system, including videos on how the various components work.

I recently picked up an old 35mm camera from a friend. In this age of digital photos I was afraid I would not be able to find film and if so, it would be difficult to find and expensive. This fits the bill nicely on both counts.

I have been an 35mm SLR user since 1964 and an Olympus digital SLR user since 2004. I have eight Oly digital lenses and this 14-35mm f2 lens is the ultimate. Output at all f-stops from 2 -11 at any focal length are spectacular. You will not notice too great a difference on a 4x6 print; but on an 11x14 and 13x19 prints you will notice, as they are phenomonal. Clarity and color accuracy are superb. I thought the 11-22mm lens was excellent; but this 14-35 lens is in a class by itself. Photos with great contrast are easily handled. Indoor low light photos are a piece of cake. Other reviews of this lens have criticized its low light focusing. When I tried the S-AF focus option on the E-3 in low to very low lighting, the focusing was definitely slow; BUT when I switched to C-AF focus option, the focus was dead on and immediate with all focusing and exposure options at all f-stops I tried. In other words, there is no focus problem when you use the camera properly. If you buy this lens, it will be on your camera 80-90% of the time, except when you are shooting wildlife, distance sports, etc. Then you can use Olympus' superb telephoto 50-200mm lens (100-400mm, 35mm equivalent)--couple it with the great Oly 2x extender for a 200-800mm, 35mm equivalent. Folks, don't believe all the negative comments about the small sensor used in the Olympus DSLRs -- when you can print fantastic 13x19 photos (and larger sizes, I'm sure, but 13x19 is the largest my Epson R1800 will print), why bother with a full frame Nikon or Canon beast, unless you'r a professional sports photog and money is no object. For the rest of the camera world, the Olypmus E-system with fabulous digital-specific lenses are way more than adequate. I can't say enough positive comments about this one-of-a-kind lens. You will not be disappointed with this lens.

I have several 35mm cameras and two digital SLRs plus multiple lenses. I am no novice to photography. I purchased this camera from curiosity and as pure entertainment. The price was also a good incentive. So far, it has met all my expectations. The only issue I have with it is, even though it is relatively intuitive to operate, the instruction manual is at best pathetic and of little use. That being said I have already recommended it to several friends.

This my second Pentax digital camera purchased from B&H. As a long time 35mm film shooter, it was hard to make the switch to digital. But the ease of operation and good quality photos produced by the K-X were very suprising. It is a rugged and easy to operate in the field. I would reccomend this camera to anyone.

I needed a camera that captured portraits to action shots. I wanted a camera that combined all the features from my 35MM film camera, my digital SLR E-510 and digital video - the EP2-Pen does that and much more. I wish the camera came with a zoom lens or 35MM lens, flash card and a case.

I recently decided to go back to using a digital Leica (M-262) as my primary camera. I was able to afford the purchase by selling my FujiFilm digital kit. To be honest, my cameras were several years old and getting a little long in the tooth. I figured I should sell them before they were worth pennies. I still own a Leica M6 35mm film camera and the most amazing FujiFilm X-100F digital camera. I already own two Leica lenses, a 1970 50mm f2 Summicron and a 90mm 2.4 Summarit. I felt the need for a faster lens. I already owned the Voigtlander 35mm 1.4 Nokton Classic which has great image and build quality so I eagerly awaited the release of the Voigtlander Nokton 50mm 1.2. This lens was anticipated to be an amazing alternative to the very expensive Leica 50mm lenses. I purchased my lens from B&H Photo in New York. I have always had good luck purchasing from them as they are very trustworthy and reputable. My Lens arrived new and amazingly well constructed as I expected. I do wish the lens came with the matching hood and maybe a dust pouch or bag. It just came in standard protective box and packaging (yawn). I think they are missing the mark by not adding some updated presentation packaging. I have found the lens to be very sharp and has a very nice Bokeh. Any lack of sharpness has been caused by being out of practice with the manual focus rangefinder, my eyes starting to age, astigmatism in my dominant eye and my now use of the dreaded spectacles. I am amazed at the image quality and construction of the Voigtlander. I have owned many 50mm lenses from different manufacturers to include the Canon 50mm L 1.2 and I have to say that this little guy (Voigtlander) takes the cake. It has amazing character to it. I bought this ring adapter, hoping to use 35mm camera lenses on a new digital camera. I am capable now of using 30 year old lenses on my Christmas present, saving me hundreds of dollars!! Totally worth buying!!!

I had one for my 35mm SLR camera. When I bought a digital SLR, the strap that came with the camera (Canon) was horrible. I looked around and looked around and didn't find anything better than the Op/Tech strap so picked up one for the new camera.
