If you lose the spotlight password, the instructions do not tell you how to reset the password

works well. After setting it up, I did need to reset router even though I had turned router off and on before inmstalling modem

Very easy to set up. Used the same SSID and password chosen for previous router so my devices just connected automatically. I am finally getting the range of coverage I need.

This modem/router is working beautifully. I especially like the unique and easy to remember password. Works without the booster I had for my previous modem/router. Thank you

This model is one that is compatible with Xfinity. I was surprised how much technology has changed because my previous NetGear modem did not require a router but this one does. I think some information needs to be added to the outside of the packaging to tell the user to buy a router while they’re at the store buying the modem!! I also don’t understand why the modem has a password because as I set the new system up, I needed to use the router name and created a password. Hopefully I got everything set up correctly - - I am able to connect to WiFi using the router name.

Despite the struggles I had pairing this up with my other Sonos products (I ended up having to completely reset my router and re-adding every speaker to the wifi), the struggle was worth it. This sub makes a world of difference. The bass you expect to feel will really rock you if you're not careful with how loud you turn it up, but it's so much more impressive when you pair it with the Arc. I can now hear background conversations in movies and TV shows that I never knew were there before. This sub not only does its job incredibly, but it makes the other speakers in your setup so much better.

I'm using the Deco BE10000 (3x BE63s), working with Cox the key is having them get the info for the modem before connecting, once they say your modem is connected on there end have them do a reset before you connect and power on the BE63 that is being used for a router. Once they do your reset to modem and all is solid white, disconnect all cables to your router except the one to your modem and connect power cable to the BE63. Wait for the amber light to go green, will take about 3 minutes. Once your green reconnect the cables you had connected back to the BE63 and wait another five minutes for all your devices to come back online. I have 143 so it took about ten minutes for my long distance AP and devices to all connect and be online with no reboot needed. That has been the best about the DECO 10000 is it heals after a Cox outage really nice.

I was having issues with the router/modem provided by cable company. It froze, speeds went up and down and I had to reset it. This purchase was worth every penny and if you are renting will save you money in the long run. Totally changed my internet, I have a great consistent speed now and i can control it from my phone.
