3D Printer Stick To Bed

As a first time 3D Printer owner, I found this equipment to be very user friendly and intuitive. I especially like the automatic bed leveling and 7" display features. 5 |

My first 3D printer and I love it. The instructions are clear and it is easy to assemble out of the box. There are a ton of youtube videos on this printer so this has helped me a lot. What I found most valuable is to make sure you FIRST mechanically flatten the bed and then do the auto-leveling. I do an auto-leveling before each print because every time I remove a previous print I fear it moves the adjustment. Remember we are printing ~0.12-0.2mm layer heights so I think it is important to auto-level each time. It only takes a minute or two. Also do it with the bed and nozzle at the temperature you are going to print at. 5 |

A really good 3d printer! The removable bed is so much easier to remove prints than my old finder! Remember you must first calibrate the extruder and then level the bed. I would do this twice! Also set the auto bed leveling on. After that it prints great! 5 |

This was my first filament ever and it has been the best so far. Prints stick to the bed very easily (I'm using 60C temp for bed) and prints come out outstanding at 0.12mm layer height. Very easy to use, recommended for beginners and experts alike! My favorite filament so far! 5 |

Great filament for an xyz 3d printer. Had trouble finding filament for my specific printer but found it here. 5 |

This filament prints at approximately 225 C on my printer. Running bed a 90 C. Getting good results and color. I will buy again when this spool gets low. 5 |

The da Vinci Jr. 1.0 is a great bang for your buck with the decent build size of 6 x 6 x 6 inches and SD card compatibility. I printed out numerous projects so far and the print quality on this machine is fantastic. The only issues with printing is that it sometimes has trouble printing small details. However, this could be improved by changing the print settings in the XYZware, like making the extruder move at a slower rate, which decreases streaking. So, one of the most important features about this printer is its usability. Let me tell you right now, this machine will take you a while to set up properly. There isn't the three-knob calibration print bed that other 3D printers have, for this printer wants to be more approachable by maintaining a fixed, leveled print bed. The only thing you have to do is fix the Z Offset, which is the distance from the extruder nozzle to the print bed. This is the only calibration you have to do but it can be tricky getting it right the first few times. Unfortunately, not all of these printers were made the same, one printer could be printing excellent at .90mm offset, but mine functions the best around 1.65mm offset. This printer does 100 to 400 microns, and the infill and speed are all adjustable in the XYZware. I've printed out some quick decorations for my desk, but I've also spent a few hours printing out this model of the Statue of Liberty at excellent quality (100 microns) and slow speed at a 30% infill. The quality of the model was amazing. Overall, the 3D printer was hard, even frustrating at times to set up properly, but once it gets going it produces some of the best prints I've ever seen. 5 |

I did a lot of research for a great 3D printer. There were a couple that were recommended to me but when doing internet searches, reviews on CNET and other tech websites I kept coming back to the Dremel 3D45. Ive done a couple of test prints and the results are fantastic. What I love: - the setup was a breeze. The display screen walks you through each step from connecting to a network, leveling the bed and even telling you to put a thin coat of paste (included) on the glass bed. Plug and play! - the RFID on the reels (also see what I hate) that give you automatic temperature settings. - the enclosed print bed. Since I have my printer setup in the garage it helps control the temp for the whole printer. - ability to load projects from a computer through the home network connection What I hate: - the Dremel RFID filament spools are a great time saver but since the spools are not as wide and the recess in the case will only take the Dremel spools and allow the recess cover to be used. While I have not yet tried another brands filament most likely Ill need an external spool holder. - the touch panel is not capacitive touch and can be a bit finnicky to make selections. Ive got fat fingers and found myself backing up during setup on a few occasions. - the display was flickering while doing setup, almost like a loose connection. During printing the display was very clear and consistent. Very odd. - Price... a bit high but I did catch it on sale and saved $200. With B&Hs free shipping and no sales tax it made it even more of a deal. All and all I think picking the Dremel Digilab 3D45 was the right choice and will be more than perfect for what I need! 5 |
