This printer has been around a year or so and the firmware updates are great and simple to preform. It is a solid(resin) preformer. Got it on sale and I do not see a better printer for the money. Uses open source software so you are not locked into any eco system. Any issues some have had in the past are fixed with the firmware updates. Mechanicaly sound and quiet. The wifi is a great addition; no usb sticks or cable needed.

Before I had this UV filter, I did noticed that the lighting of my pictures were not as rich. I'm very satisfied with this product and would rather buy this to protect my lenses.

I'm not able to compare this to other UV filters / lens protectors right now, but I did a before and after test in the snow and to my suprise, the blue snow (Before) actually turned white using the filter. For a few dollars, this is a great investment to protect your lens, and it appears that the annoying blue cast to snow (I live in Hellinois) will be removed, which make my images look much better. Kudos Tiffen! (I am a retired pro photographer)

Every time a buy a new lens i make sure i buy a Tiffen UV filter. Before i even try the lens on my Nikon, I put the filter on. This lens provides great protection from fingerprints, dust, etc.......and best of all has no distortion or dicoloration. Best purchase....Hands down.

Before I left on my trip to Nicaragua, I put a new Canon UV Protector Filter on the front of my 35mm 1.4 Canon lens, and forgot about it. It's an expensive and beautiful performing lens but I did not want to let the care of the lens take away from the casual carefree attitude of the photography that I wished to shoot. I wanted to respond to the environment and the people in Nicaragua, and not obsess on the camera in my hand. I shot on the beach, in the streets, on back dusty dirt roads, and in between, my camera sat along side me in the mini rental SUV. When I arrived home, the filter was a mess. Cleaned it off, brushed off the camera, unscrewed the filter, and the glass on my lens was gorgeous. The lens was untouched and in perfect condition. My images all were sharp, clear, and stress free. The filter is in great shape and ready for another day. I strongly advise the purchase of a well-made Canon UV filter.
