In this digital age, binders like this are still important because I scan just about everything I shoot with various camera formats. It holds all of the formats, from 35mm to 8x10 film. I have an oddball sized film too, panoramic wide field negatives and positives. It is built tough for day-to day usage and is archivally durable, it's perfect.

I have a large collection of 6x6 slides and am preparing to scan them to digital. This item works great as a temporary holder for the slides in an orderly fashion while waiting to scan. The slide can be identified by number as well as the number of the the slide tray by writing on the sleve. Great

I am scanning my negatives and slides to digital and as I scan each film, I am moving the film from the sleeves and envelopes provided by the lab to pages in binders. The Print File pages for slides has a top load section for sliding notes in, which has a tendency to slide out. The pages for negatives are side load and sealed at the top. I with the slide pages were the same.
