3Dr Solo Compatible Android Tablets

This fits correctly with my 3DR solo for a less price than competitor.

The case has enough room for my 3DR Solo, all of its accessories and chargers, and additional hardware as well. The velcro attachment system allows for the easy customization of the case parts, and for the securing of loose items inside the case with 3M tape velcro strips. The case is durable enough to stand up to normal use, I would be concerned checking it on a flight though, since it is not a rigid plastic case. If it were thrown around by baggage handlers, I don't know that internally it would come out unscathed. The tradeoff is that it is quite light however, which is ideal when using it as a backpack.

Having struggled with Android tablets for years, it's awesome to see something that just works as expected!

I want to start by saying I am normally not an apple fan. This product was purchased because it was slightly easier and smoother to lock down than android tablets. It sits on a wall and acts as a single app kiosk, and was therefore ideal. The price was in the same realm as android tablets too so it was hard to ignore. In conclusion, Apple once again made a boring, unassuming, but ultimately reliable and simple device. My abhorrence for them as a corporation not withstanding, this was the perfect product for my needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had to many Android tablets. They were sluggish, but useful with my Google account. This tablet is fast as I want it to be, the screen is beautiful, and the pen works like butter.

I use these for my Android tablets, Raspberry Pi, and music player. The large capacity and fast speeds make a big difference. I was using older and slower microSD cards for my Pi but when I used this one, boot time and performance increased noticeably. SanDisk storage has never disappointed me, whether used for computers or photo equipment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used several well know Android tablets and this on is by far one of the best ones that I have used. Having some of the cool hub features and a tablet all in one makes everything convenient. The tablet itself is very responsive and fast. Some of the other Android tablets tend to lag a little bit. The screen is nice and bright with a perfect size. Typical tablet features and customization! All in all, love this tablet and concept! I only have 2 issues.... 1) If I'm using it as a hub and someone pulls it off to use it. I'd have to hunt it down. 2) Give me more color options. Other than that, BUY ONE!

Being a cable there isn't much to say other than it's fast, it's long, and it's reliable. I primarily use this to shoot product, a situation in which I nearly always shoot tethered. Shooting solo the lag doesn't necessarily bother me. Working with a crew that lag can be crippling; the art director has to wait for the image, they have to relay their changes to the stylists, and any lag that takes place after the picture is taken is only amplified further downline. Long story short, if you shoot solo this cable is more of a luxury than a necessity. With others on set, though, it will make a world of difference. Pro: Blazing fast data transfer. Con: Isn't compatible with the jerk-stoppers that are becoming more commonplace among newer cameras. (Shooting on the 1DX II, I can say that it absolutely isn't compatible. That said, simple fix would be to get the cheaper, non-angled cable).

I had an Apollo Solo (Windows USB) and needed to sitch to an interface that was Mac/Windows compatible. After watching a number of YouTube reviews and reading Reddit threads, I opted for the Fireface. It works great. I really appreciate the number of inputs and the totalmix software is excellent. Sound quality is noticeably better than the other interfaces I have. It comes at a premium price, but I think it's still good value.
