This is definitely the best streaming device you can get right now. It is pricier than other devices such as chromecast, but you get what you pay for. It is very fast, has all your streaming apps, has great navigation, can play games, etc. Importantly, it is the only one that values your privacy. The other streaming devices are cheap because they monitor your usage and try to sell you ads. With the Apple TV, you are the customer, not the product!

Very easy to program for all your devices for myself the television, soundboard, Xbox, streaming box and blu-ray. It has quick access buttons to jump straight to your favorite channels. I lost the original remote for my Roku TV a while ago, but this remote is such an upgrade that I can’t say I miss my old one. It is compatible with lots of devices, and you’re not limited to controlling just one device. The light ring indicates what device the remote is set to control which is handy, but the light also just looks really cool. There’s even programmable buttons so you can go right to whatever your favorite streaming service is. It has a lot of capabilities, but it also is just good for performing your basic functions, so you really can’t go wrong.

I have been using Roku devices for many years. In the past, there was always a few glitches here and there that would show up while using them. This started showing major improvement with the Roku 3 that I purchased and then last with the model 3600 streaming stick. Now the hardware is not only fast in the menus but reliable and stable as well. Picture quality is as good as any streaming device I have owned and I have used many. The new remote control with voice, TV power and volume controls are a great upgrade from the 3600 model streaming stick. I can now watch TV with one remote control and that is very handy. If I could change anything it would be the integration of a TV guide type of application, such as the TV app on the Apple TV. There is a version of this on the remote app, but it is not as detailed as the version I have used on Apple TV. It would be nice to have this type of thing visible on the device and not just on the app. I suspect Roku will create something like this in the future. They are a responsive company that cares about the customer experience. What makes this a 5-star device though is the quality matched with the price. The closest competitor is a Fire TV, but they push you more toward the Amazon content while Roku is content agnostic with all but iTunes available to access. The menus are prettier on Fire TV, but the simplicity of access better on the Roku. I would argue that the quality and stability of the software is better as well. Overall this is a great device that gives you 4K without breaking your budget to do so. The fact that it does all of this with a simplistic and reliable platform makes it even better.

This is my 2nd Roku device. They are easy to hook up to your TV and setup with a streaming service you may have is a snap. I like the rechargeable remote and the headphone jack for private listening. I have not tried the Bluetooth option. I like the remote control app for your cellphone. I am looking forward to additional apps being added to the library you offer for the device. It's a solid media device.
