Skyroam device (Solis Lite) works where our Verizon data plan won't. The ability to use all major networks through Skyroam is a wonderful asset. This feature keeps us in touch while full time RVing , allowing us to e-mail, stream videos and use internet.

I have this case and a similar sized Pelican, the latter of which cost nearly twice as much. I would say this Nanuk is 3/4 the value. If you just want a hard case to keep things in storage, or from getting banged up in the back of a car etc. This is the perfect case, and I got mine on sale so double win. Its a quality built product. It is not however a Pelican, if you plan on getting down and dirty with your case, going into extreme environments, dragging it behind your car down the road etc. Spend the extra cash, if you just need a hard case for taking on planes, or something to keep gear dry while camping or in storage, this is the product for you. That is really the only difference I see between the two is the thickness/stiffness of the shell, and the sturdiness of the clasps. That is not to say this one is lacking in those things, but if I press really hard on the center of the lid, it will bow in a small amount, not enough to damage anything but a little. I would be confident throwing my pelican out of a plane. So ask yourself what you plan to do with this case, and buy accordingly, dollar for dollar I think the Nanuk has move value to most users.

Even though I'm not one for buying insurance plans, the AppleCare+ is truly one you need for an expensive MacBook. It is worth every dollar for the peace of mind. After you read the reviews of several plan you will discover AppleCare+ is the best choice. Highly recommend this plan to purchase through the B&H website.

If you plan on cutting or working with 40” matting than the 750-1 is a must. It’s well made, easy to assemble, and works great. For myself, it made handling and cutting a large mat simple and easy to do. I’m definitely happy with the purchase. BTW, excellent price from B&H photo.

It doesn't get much more versatile than this. There isn't a limit to how you can use this but I will say that if you plan on attaching a 40 grip arm to this make sure this is clamped down tight and use a counter balance if possible to avoid too much stress on the super clamp jaws. This holds well and is a great addition to my kit.

I had been using a DR-40 with a Rode NTG-2, but the noise floor was always too high. Switched to this recorder for the higher quality preamps and adjustable gain, and now my audio sounds great. As others have said, there are small caveats - the battery door is ridiculous, and the form factor isn't really convenient for mounting under a DSLR if you plan on carrying it - but at this price point, there's really no competition. Bottom line, if you plan on doing most of your recording from external mics, get this over a DR40 or Zoom H4N.

I'm using a Nikon D90 with 60mm Macro to take intraoral and facial photos for orthodontics. At first, I'd purchased a wireless ring flash from a company who claims to be a dental photography guru. However, most photos came out with dark shadows or with un-matching colors. I'd even attended a course during one of the AAO thinking that perhaps the settings, F stops, etc. were the culprits of my photo problems. Thankfully, the flash broke down after 2 years of average use and ended up purchasing the R1 wireless flash with the rechargeable batteries. It was simply the best dollar per dollar that I'd spent in dental photography!! Nowadays, my photos come out nice, with the right amount of shadows, vivid colors and less focusing issues. Dear Colleagues, this ring flash will deliver!!
